Peyton Hillis “Looks Positive” For Return Week 12

Peyton Hillis “Looks Positive” For Return Week 12
Alex Dunlap, Rosterwatch.com

After being initially ruled out on Monday by Browns HC Pat Shurmur, RB Peyton Hillis turned in a practice Friday in which he took many of the first-team reps and has been upgraded to a game-time decision.

“It looks positive for this game” he said. “We’re all shooting for this Sunday..”

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plains-Dealer reports that Hillis says his recovery  has been sped up by a Platelet-Rich Plasma injection (which may or may not be a BS procedure) he received two and a half weeks ago. Reports from practice were that he looked good in team drills Friday, and Pat Shurmur has previously indicated that when Hillis was again active, the pecking order would go Hillis, Hardesty, Ogbonnaya. With Hardesty likely returning this week, it makes it that much more of a difficult situation to predict or handicap against a Cincinnati team that has suffered since losing Leon Hall. Keep an eye on the Injuries Page where, as always, we will have a full Friday round up going into the weekend.
