  1. Needed to pick up a QB for my 8-team Standard league (have Ben and holding him, too) so grabbed Carr. I also needed a RB due to bye week losses but both K Williams and Starks were taken before my turn. I have Blount and Lacy (wanted another RB to go in place of Lacy). League plays 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1 RB/WR Flex.

I had to release one of my WRs for Carr and ready to release another if there’s a good RB alternative for this week. I’m in 1st place so don’t want to lose assets for these last 7 weeks. I released A Hums (killed me to do so) but might be able to get him tomorrow if you have advice on which one or two WRs to lose. I appreciate your advice and it helped get me where I am this season.

WR: J. Jones, Hopkins, Evans, J Landry, Cooks, Watkins (grabbed him last Sat.) & Diggs (released Hurns and was releasing Diggs if K Williams or Starks were available for my ww pick).

Did I release the right WR (Hurns) for a QB for the next 2 weeks, or should I try to pick him up for another WR, tomorrow?

Any advice on RB prospects for remainder of the season, or are my 4 okay for now? If I should get a 5th, which WR should next be released? My RBs are Freeman (bye), Woodhead (bye), Blount and Lacy.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. yeah, it’s tough, but that may be the right move for now. you might want to add david cobb or jay ajayi for speculative reasons, but i wouldn’t drop any of your wrs for them right now.

  2. Thanks for the feedback. It makes me feel better. I’ll keep an eye on Cobb and Ajayi in case one of my WRs starts dropping off.

  3. 12 Team Standard (Record: 6-3; four-way tie for 1st place but 1st in points)

    [1] QB: Tyrod Taylor
    [2] WR: A. Brown, Hopkins (Watkins, Green-Beckham)
[2] RB: D. Martin, Duke Johnson (Forte*, Gore^, Sims)
    [1] TE: Olsen
    [1] FLEX: Hurns

    1. Couldn’t grab Starks or Ryan Mathews off waivers so now I’m concerned about my RB2 spot with Gore on BYE and Forte still out. Stick with Duke vs. HOU or would it be too cockamamie to start BOTH Martin and Sims vs. DAL?

    2. Should I pick up and start Bortles or even Cousins over Tyrod Taylor this week? I’d have to drop either Tyrod or maybe Green-Beckham who I just picked up to fill out my last bench spot?

    1. OOPS! Duke Johnson is playing @PIT*, not HOU…

      1. Not cockamamie to consider Sims and Martin in this situation. That’s honestly what I would probably do if it were my team- I like that idea and love the matchup.

We would pick up Bortles and play him. You can then decide wether you want to keep Taylor as well for insurance or matchup plays the rest of the season.

        1. Thanks again Byron!

I dropped Green-Beckham for Bortles so I’m sitting Taylor tonight.

However speaking of benching Bills, am I making the right decision by benching Watkins @NYJ (on Revis Island) tonight for my FLEX spot?

Originally I was going to start Hurns at the FLEX, but I’m concerned with him missing another day of practice. If I start both Martin & Sims vs. DAL at my RB1 & RB2 respectively then I’m left with choosing a FLEX out of Watkins, Duke Johnson @PIT , or Hurns @BAL …

I’m still leaning towards playing Hurns and luckily, Hurns and Duke Johnson have 1pm games Sunday so I can replace Hurns with Duke if necessary, but I’m wondering if Watkins is the preferred option over either of them or not?

  4. Which one to start? Clay or Kyle Rudolph?

    1. PPR scoring

  5. I am in a 12 team ppr dynasty, this includes 1 pt for every 10 qb completions. I currently hold a 1 game lead at 7-2 for the division title.
I have been riding the hot hand of Derek Carr and stacking him with Michael Crabtree. I just picked up Kirk Cousins from waivers because of his excellent match up this week. Which qb should I start?
