PRO Trashman’s Rest of Season Rankings: Pre-Trade Deadline

These are Rest of Season (ROS) rankings for the majority of notable fantasy players at the flex position (RB,WR,TE). They are ranked based on projected scoring for the rest of the season in standard leagues. Factors included into the rankings are things like injury concerns, diminished or increased opportunities, bye weeks and scheduling. They are useful in determining player value for those last pre-trade-deadline transactions. Good luck, RW Nation as we push to the finish!

  1. some real smelly things going on here. Why is Marshall so high besides his name?

    1. Disgusting, I have no explantation. He swears he spent more than 10 minutes on these.

      1. Ah, so he was working overtime this week?

        1. You are far too kind!

  2. This is the most putrid thing I’ve ever seen. Disgusting Trashman!

  3. Half point PPR, I have 2 potential trades both with me receiving Spencer Ware. Would you rather give up Michael Thomas or Allen Robinson? My other receivers are Evans, Tate, C Coleman. Other RBs are Crowell, T Coleman, Howard, Sproles, and Dixon. Or just hold what I have? I feel really weak at RB.

    1. Prob Thomas, crazy it’s come to that. We think ARob is trending positive to finish the season. Could always consider trading one of your RB + one of those guys- maybe for a more elite runner. Don’t hate the Ware idea, though

      1. I would do a 2 for 1 trade, but no one likes any of my RBs aside from Howard, and if I trade him + a WR, I’m not sure I’m moving forward. The main reason I was looking at Ware was the rest of his schedule is pretty nice. Thanks for the help!

  4. May have screwed the pooch…played Thomas Thursday and put Edelman on the bench. But, now have Jordy and Moncrief in line-up but have been hearing good things about Edelman last couple of days so…who should I sub out, if at all????

    1. Yikes- you’d prob have to sub him over Moncrief- but only in PPR

  5. Thanks for putting this together Trashman! It’d be great to have something like this from you guys 3-4 times a year before the trade deadline. Very helpful to have this kind of input for trading without having to send individual questions to you guys. Some trade offers come with an expiry date, and have to be moved on quickly. 🙂

  6. Now a question – how important do you rate handcuffing David Johnson at this point? I have Ellington, but am considering dropping him for Dixon, who sems like an up-and-comer right now. Mistake?

    1. it all depends on if you need the help at rb. if dixon is someone you would actually use, and you don’t think you’ll get to the playoffs without the boost, then possibly. otherwise, i’d stay put if you’re in good shape already.

      1. Thanks Trashman! I dropped Tyreek Hill instead. It’s two RB/two WR/Flex, Full PPR, but RBs get 1/5 point per carry. So RBs are pretty valuable. Other WRs are Davante Adams, Cooks, Shepard, Marshall, Tyrell Williams, so I don’t think I’ll use Tyreek. I might need Ellington is things go sideways in ARI.

        1. FWIW, RBs are Gordon, David Johnson, Howard, Perkins, Ellington, and now Dixon. I think depth at RB is key in this league.

  7. thanks for putting this together. trade question. im trying to get OBJ to fill in for AJ and consolidate excess rb talent. roster below.

RB – Ezekiel, Demarco (S Ware, J Howard, T Coleman, Dion Lewis, D Henry)
WR – AJ Green*, B Cooks (Davante Adams)
    TE – Delanie Walker
Flex – been flexing one of the above RBs
    Def- Seahawks (Chiefs)

OBJ owner lost Gio and is interested in receiving 2 RBs for OBJ, hes got 2 dead spots on roster. I think he would go for most combinations of TWO of these rbs… S Ware, J Howard, T Coleman. plus chiefs defense

ware’s schedule looks good ROS so, if he would go for howard + coleman + chiefs D for OBJ would you go for it? and if he doesnt go for that, would you send ware + (howard or coleman)? im not fighting for a playoff spot, im 9-1 gonna be 9-2 first round BYE week is almost a lock. also im gonna have to drop one of my bench guys week 13 for titans double bye so little extra pressure to trade bc of that. i like t colemans week 15 matchup vs san fran…12 team half point ppr.

    1. The first offer should suffice. To be honest, I’d do what I could to get him. Adams could take a hit with Cook coming back in GB.

      1. thanks trashman… given that line up, would you send ware + one of the other rbs if the guy is keen on receiving ware in the deal?
