Often times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions. Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 3 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming week’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 3’s slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component.

  1. K boys who 2 start

    Doug Martin or David johnson
    Rivers or taylor

  2. 1 pt ppr, 6 pts per rushing and receiving touchdowns, need to flex one of the following

    Steve Smith Sr
    Devonta Freeman
    Davante Adams

According to the trashman’s flex rankings, I should choose Devonta Freeman. However, Davante Adams has the best matchup according to the matchup tool and should play Monday night. Who would you choose? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Does Starks’ flex value increase past Steve Smith if Lacy looks like a no-go or limited work?

    1. if no go yes, otherwise no

  4. 12 team standard Need one wr, two rbs, and a flex out of these:
    Mike evans
    amari cooper
    devonta freeman
    mark ingram
    lamar miller

so basically which of these guys do I sit?

    1. i’d play evans, freeman, miller, ingram

  5. Hey guys, am in a 10 team ppr league, I have for RBs stewart, forsett, gore, blount, abdullah.
my WRs are brown, hopkins, thomas, jeffery, brown.

I am looking to trade abdullah for allan robinson, what do you think?

    1. a brown and j brown btw.

    2. i think your wr corps is tronger than your rb corps. i’d hold.

  6. Lacy was just upgraded to probable. Take a chance with him playing tomorrow night or stick with D Johnson or John Brown in my flex in a standard league. Hate to take a zero if he ends up not actually playing, but he has more upside than either of these guys. Thanks!

  7. Hey guys,

Why wasn’t there a week 3 garbage grab post updated to the site this weekend?

    1. miscommunication with the editor. it’ll be up this week for sure.

  8. Just got a trade offer in a 0.5 point ppr 2 qb league. 4 bench spots only. Here’s my team

    QB1 Matt Ryan
    QB2 Eli Manning
    RB1 Latavius Murray
    RB2 Mark Ingram
    WR1 Julio Jones
    WR2 DeMaryius Thomas
    WR3 Doug Baldwin
    TE Greg Olsen
    FLEX Travis Kelce

Bench: Roddy White, Bilal Powell, Tevin Coleman, Mark Sanchez

Just got this offer… Antonio Brown, Jimmy Graham, & Doug Martin for Julio Jones & Latavius Murray.

Obviously I don’t need a third TE, but the offer isn’t bad. Big Ben just got hurt so that devalues the trade a bit too… here’s his team just in case

    QB1 Colin Kaepernick
    QB2 Alex Smith
    RB1 Alfred Morris
    RB2 Gio Bernard
    WR1 Antonio Brown
    WR2 Jeremy Maclin
    WR3 Pierre Garcon
    TE Rob Gronkowski
    FLEX Jimmy Graham

Bench: Doug Martin, Bishop Sankey, Rashad Jennings, Matt Jones

  9. Eddie Lacy or Travis Kelce tonight for MNF???
Need 18 fantasy points for win. PPR league
