PRO Week 16 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. RosterWatch Nationnnnn! Championship territory here… wondering what the thoughts are on Russell Wilson this week!? Or Would you rollout Jamies Winston?
And if Russell Winston, whats the confidence with Tyler Lockette as a WR3?

    Thanks fellaz.

    1. Feeling pretty good about TL, we always like RW at home. Bress lit ARZ up last week- and we’ve ALWAYS said since 2011 that RW has some Brees to him as a passer. Jameis could go famous in NO this week though- I’d say his floor is solid and probably higher., than Wilson’s. Don’t think his ceiling is quite as high- even though the O/U is much higher. Two great options- wish I could tell you 100% right now- but you’ll have to use the tools and check and updated rankings before the games. I’d feel fine rolling with either- gun 2 head- prob roll JW at the moment if it were my squad and I had to decide right now.

  2. Given the match up against arizona would you start somebody like Charles Clay or Zach Ertz over Jimmy Graham?

    1. No

      1. Haha thanks

  3. Looking forward to next year and Keepers. I’ve been adding guys that I think may have bigger roles next year. Added Paul Perkins, looking at Martavius Bryant – Thought on what his impact may be next year or his he simply Josh Gordon 2.0 and we should stay away….?

Any other – RB2 back up guys in situations that may result in them being the starters next year?

    1. MB could go the JG route, but if it doesn’t cost us much to stash him- we def would. That Steelers passing game was not the same without him this year.

Could certainly look to stash Prosise, DHenry, WSmallwood, maybe a Jonathan Williams or Karlos Williams as a deep sleeper, DWashington if it’s a PPR, KDixon, Dbooker, Abdullah

Also think the DEN WR are interesting considerations as buy lows in Dynasty leagues this offseason

  4. Big decision guys. Have L Green on the shelf this week. Do I pick up Witten; Griffey; Henry or Daniel Brown. Thanks

    1. I’d go with Witten

  5. Hey RW Nation!! 2 for 2 in the finals, gotta finish strong here.
    Eli Manning, Kaep or Barkley??

    Also PPR Pick 2
Anderson, Ginn, Parker, Coleman, Lee, D. Henry or Aldrick Robinson if Jones doesn’t go?

    Lastly PPR Pick one TE
    Clay, Hooper, Gresham or Cook?

Thanks Guys for all the help.

    1. manning, anderson, ginn, gresham

  6. Got to the championship game with Rosterwatch nation… who’s got the best Defense to use this week: Giants, Chargers or Rams?

  7. I have two questions for my Week 16 Championship in my big league:

Tyler Eifert or Greg Olsen (Leaning Olsen)
Jonathan Stewart or Bilal Powell (Leaning Stewart)

    Let me know, thank you!

    1. 1/2 Point PPR

      1. please wait for updated rankings later this afternoon

        1. Thank you Stewart and Olsen it is. I see that you have Crowder ranked well ahead of AJ Green even with Joseph & Eifert possibly not playing.

  8. Championship game this week (many thanks to Byron Lambert)

    Big decisions this week:

Right now our RB1 and RB2 is McCoy & Rawls
    Flex is Powell

Our bench is: Crowell, Crowder, Mitchell, and Inman

How would you line up this week? (PPR)

    Also, Bills or Giants Defense?

    -Thanks

    1. Prob Bills defense- only consideration is thinking long and hard about getting MM in your lineup vs that shoddy Jets secondary
