Week 2 DFS Cheat Sheet and Trend Tool: Fanduel
By Mike Band and the RosterWatch staff

The epic DFS cheat sheet for Fanduel is now available for download to RosterWatch PRO members. In addition to the cheat sheet, we’ll be providing RosterWatch Nation exclusive access to our private analytic “trends” database this season (The DuelTool) to dig deeper into the slate and understand why we’ve included the players on the cheat sheet that we have. (See link at the bottom of the page).

We’ve taken into consideration every variable you could imagine. Dozens of indicators from Vegas. All of our privately held analytics. Every statistical split imaginable, historical performance, weather, individual cornerback/receiver matchup, RW’s own proprietary matchup rankings and so much more.

The rules for the DFS cheat sheet remain the same as ever. The players are listed in these tiers:

BLUE salary: High-dollar

RED salary: Mid-range

PURPLE salary: higher-risk bargains

Choose the players from the sheet you like best. Mix-and-match them to create your personal, optimal lineup. It’s that simple.

Take note of projected ownership percentages when putting your team together. In 50/50, Double-Up and head-to-head contests, there is nothing wrong with rostering players who project as popular choices across the board. However, in larger field tournaments, it is always wise to differentiate from the public with a few lower-percentage plays and/or stacks.

The Fanduel Cheat Sheet and associated RosterWatch DuelTool provide options of all different projected ownership levels. In the DuelTool spreadsheet, you will see players sorted by “trend.” This is the number of advanced indicators that have pointed to this player being an optimal fantasy play for the week regardless of pricing.

The Vegas Props Tool will be out late Saturday evening as always.

  1. I do not understand the surplus section? I might have missed it and I’m sorry.

  2. 12 Team
    QB Scoring:
Passing Yards: 25 yards per point; 8 points at 300 yards
    Passing Touchdowns: 6
    Interceptions: -3
Rushing Yards: 8 yards per point; 8 points at 110 yards

This question might be right up Trashman’s alley but since losing RG3 I’ve got slim pickings at QB in this league with 8 bench spots because a lot of teams have two QBs each. Tyrod Taylor already dropped 29 on me so I’m looking for upside this week and potentially ROS and my options are:
    Flacco @CLE
    Cutler vs. PHI
    Garoppolo vs MIA
    Wentz @CHI

I know Flacco is ranked the highest but as a Pats fan I refuse to root for Flacco and at the same time I’m leaning towards going with Jimmy G but I know he’s not a long term option. So I ended up picking up Cutler after waivers cleared but I still don’t know who’s my best bet!?

    1. Flacco at Cleveland should be best. Wentz at Chicago second. Watch out for weather on the east coast before games as well.
