RWi Week 9 Touchdown Dependency Tool: Running Backs

Byron BylineLadies and Gentleman, we present you with the Touchdown Dependency Metrics for the Top 50 fantasy running backs through the first eight weeks of the season. When projecting a prospect’s long-term value versus current performance, generally, non-touchdown-dependent players are more reliable in terms of continuing to produce at current levels on a consistent basis. Overly touchdown-dependent prospects may be “sell high” candidates. If you have questions about the importance of this metric, please ask in the comments section below.

  1. Trade question.. I would give up Leveon Bell and larry Donnell for Demarius Thomas and Tim Wright. My other running backs are Lamar Miller, Chris Ivory, Tre Mason and Sims

We need to know your starting roster limits, and the rest of you WR corps. Based on the information given, we would not do this deal. Bell and Donnell are more valuable than Thomas and Wright. Good luck.

  2. Help please. What are your thoughts on Ronnie Hillman regarding keeper value? I am considering trading Hillman (I am selling off my team for picks). However, I can keep Hillman for two rounds higher than his ADP next year (ADP=5, I keep him for a 7). I know it all depends on the pick I can get for him, but generally how do you see Hillman shaping up for next year?

    1. Scottie D-

The organization continues to be supportive of Hillman. We do not trust him further than we can throw him, especially in terms of future value. His rookie contract will expire, and there is no guarantee how long he even stays in DEN. We would get what we could for him and trade him, if you have already given up on this season. Good luck.

  3. now there is another offer. I would give up Miller and Kelce for B Oliver, J Reed and Patterson. its is a 12 team ppr league

We would not do this deal. Good luck.

  4. With Gio now out of the game, I would like to know which would be best to fill his roll.

    A.Williams, NYG vs. IND
    J.McKinnon, MIN vs. WSH

    Thanks fellas.

    1. Dustin-

Very close- we trust McKinnon a little bit more to at least get you a serviceable contribution. Good luck.
