What he lacked in explosive ability after that catch, he made up for with physicality and size. He’s a great fit for what Tampa Bay is trying to do on offense. The Bucs drafted with clear intent, going after monsters like Mike Evans and Seferian-Jenkins in May.

There’s been a lot of mention that with Josh McCown at the helm, Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson could be the new Alshon Jeffery / Brandon Marshall. Well, it would follow that the upside for Seferian-Jenkins is somewhere in Martellus Bennet territory.

Knowing that makes the Bucs rookie a worthy Dynasty commodity. In redraft leagues he may be able to serve as a spot-play tight end as a rookie but he will not be dependable. Safety play is on an uptick in the NFC South as teams build and scheme to stop a monster in Jimmy Graham. However, it can’t be overlooked that Seferian-Jenkins is an immediate red-zone threat and may make the radar as a TE2 at some point this season, even in redraft leagues if the Bucs offense gets hot.
