Keenan Robinson Dominates ESPN College Football All Star Challenge

ESPN knows nothing soothes the Sunday after Super Bowl hangover more than two hours with Jesse Palmer. Throw in a few jungle gyms and some huge kids and you’ve got full blown entertainment. Giveth, the ESPN College Football All Star Challenge.

Look, I know! Obstacle courses and skills competitions are crappy indicators of on-field production. This is very true but it does give you a glimpse of a player’s competitive spirit and athleticism. University of Texas product, LB Keenan Robinson, dominated his peers in these categories like he dominated the underwear show at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL.

Robinson won the individual obstacle course. He beat out Big East Offensive player of the year, RB Isaiah Pead, who told us personally at the Senior Bowl he runs sub 4.4-40 all day every day. Looking very athletic and very natural, Keenan showed why he was a WR in highschool. His agility, lateral movement, and footwork were great while he always managed to stay very low to the ground. Further flaunting his athleticism, Robinson front flipped off of two feet over the finish line for the win and managed to send a Tweet!

In the full team competition and the tandem obstacle course Keenan was the difference maker as he annihilated the sled and manhandled the tractor tire.

NFL teams may not get too excited about underwear models and skills competitions but Robinson is a solid kid with terrific athleticism, professional stature, and great character. The smart organizations looking for team players that can contribute right away should be keeping a close eye on Keenan throughout this offseason draft process.
