– Matt Forte Jr., many traits are similar to the former Tulane standout.
– Told RosterWatch at 2016 NFL combine that he compared his style most to Arian Foster.
– Vision, fluidity, hands (hands catches everything), patience, good burst through the hole, balance.
– Three-down back who isn’t afraid to stick his nose in the pass-blocking game.
– Originally committed to Washington State (and Fresno State) before going JUCO for two years and becoming a star.
– 1,261 Rushing yards with 11 Td’s in 10 contests as a senior all done prior to having a minor knee injury.
– I love this guy; has a Frank Sinatra-type rhythm to his game with hands to boot.
– Won’t get picked until round 3 or 4 but is a top 50 talent.

Two-time All-Pac-12 selection was first team in 2014 and second team in 2015 … one of just two Utah players ever to record back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and one of three to rush for 1,000 yards twice in his career … set the school record for career rushing average (120.6) and tied the school record for career 100-yard rushing games (14) … finished third in career rushing yards (2,773), fourth in career carries (560) and tied for sixth in career rushing touchdowns (21 ).
Son of Ronnie and Francis Booker … received a bachelor’s degree in sociology in December of 2015… full name is Devontae Dupree Booker … born May 27, 1992.
