  1. 12 team full point ppr redraft league. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF and have only 5 bench spots.

Our draft is not until the end of the month. However, I already know I am picking at the 12th spot. I did a mock draft using the cheat sheet and was able to land Julio Jones and Davonte Adams with my first two picks and then got Devonta Freeman and Derrick Henry with my next two picks. I am concerned about going zero RB with my first two picks and potentially having Devonta Freeman as my RB1. What are your thoughts?

Been a pro subscriber since 2014. I have been to the fantasy championship the last three years in a row and have won the fantasy championship the past two years. Loved hearing you guys on SiriusXM today during my lunch hour here in Chicago.

    1. the Julio/Freeman issue is a common one at the turn. If you find yourself in this spot, feel free to deviate to the next RB down – it’s what I do. I believe Kerryon, A Jones, Jacobs should all be there. If it’s simply starting out two WRs that bothers you, you could reach a little for a Dalvin, etc. with your first pick of RD2 and we’d be fine with that.

I like freeman this year ( if he stays healthy )
I doubt you land Adams at 12 bro !~

I like Conner/Cook, and ODB/MT in that spot tho

Have two keeper league questions for you guys..

1- is Adam Theilen worth keeping? He would cost me a 3rd round pick, keeping Barkley with my first rd, traded my 2nd last year.

2- if I were to keep Theilen, my last keeper would come down to 3 options. Who would you choose? …
    Nick Chubb -9th
    Damien Williams-9th
    James white – 14th rd

      Dang good question !
The value on Damien and co is so good, plus with losing a 1st for Saquon, and not having a 2nd to boot..
you keep Chubb and Damien (ONLY if u can start 3 rbs )

TBH if it were me …
I’d try to trade barkley if I could get a better value of player that is going in the 1st two rounds
..try to recoup that lost 2nd…

    2. Take Chubb and Williams and leave Thielen out and draft stud wide receivers. Thielen and Diggs dropped way off the map after the coordinator change predicated by the coach demanding they run the ball despite that awesome pass attack. I see them both as high end wr2’s this year with the expected volume. If you can’t trade for someone’s 9th round pick to get both then I think it is a coin flip. Williams should get all the work when healthy as an undersized back in Andy’s rb1 volume offense. Chubb should get all of the works between the 20’s and goalline with a some passes and would be the safer pick. But never know how Hunt coming back week 9 will shake things up there. Early third down is where I value Thielen and so does the cheat sheet. If it was me I would take the RB1 of the chiefs attack and not look back. And then only take Thielen if I couldn’t get Chubb.

  3. I feel like we are too low on Lamar Jackson. If he stays healthy and runs for 1000 yards and throw 25 touchdowns he is the MVP.

Harbaugh has to take the reigns off, so we can see what he has in this league beyond running.
If his air game doesn’t develop, defenses are going to figure him out real quick.

Looks like his designed runs are def going to decrease, but I def think he looked like a real player yesterday – obv still going to scramble a lot. I’d say more of a scrambler than a runner this year. Looking forward to today’s practice for more.

        … and no that’s not a euphemism

  4. I have been doing a bunch of best ball drafts and the cheat sheet has me getting quite a lot of Fournette, which is a little scary with his injury history. Who is the back I should be grabbing late to handcuff him armstead or blue?

    1. Post By The Flex Network

Armstead is healthy again and has the ability to step in if/ when Fournette gets hurt. I don’t see him necessarily getting as many carries as LF when healthy, but he would be the cuff to own in my opinion.

Byron said today on the SXM show that Blue looking like the early backup. My money is still on the rookie as the season progresses… I think the real play here is to fade the rb handcuff all together and go for an upside player in the later rounds of bb. You want to win your best ball leagues! We don’t want to finish 6th by being conservative and getting a low upside handcuff. In that area I would even want a Malcom Brown more who is looking to be the Stand in cuff for Gurley if he is hurt.

      Blue is a bum
we already know what he is
The Flexist is on the something with this strategy
