Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Listen to the podcast as a supplement to the sheet as you’re setting waiver claims for additional insight, the pod does not give the exact order and/or tiers of the sheet so do not consider it a substitute for using the sheet.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Would it be wise to burn 3rd waiver priority on Rams defense? Looks like they have hot little stretch coming up. But defenses are so volatile, not sure if it’s worth it. I currently have the takeaway-less Arizona defense against the Giants and Jets the next two weeks.

      Why don’t you see if you can get out of having two TB WRs and offer up Akers + Evans or Godwin for Kittle + and upgrade from Akers or something? Also, would recommend listening to the TradeCast every week, it’s what I do and it gives me a ton of good ideas.

      You said it right. Crowder is going to get fed. No healthy Jets out there. I’d wait to see if Crowder plays, he will have a better floor with upside.

    Lamb, Z. Moss, D. Freeman on the bench with walking wounded Kittle, Godwin, and Run CMC. Do I dump any of my 3 bench to grab Hyde, Higgins, Aiyuk, Jefferson, Berrios, if I can get them. 4 bench spots 2 IR. Due to the genius of the Draft Cheat Sheet, my top 3 picks have gone down and I’m still 3-0 riding high in first with a strong squad and the last waiver wire spot. 12 team PPR with .25 per carry.       I’d try to hold onto Lamb for sure. Moss is a hold too. Freeman is ok to drop, as it was hard for Barkley to be productive in that offense. Justin Jefferson is the priority add. Good luck!

      Ruggs and Snell both drop candidates. Don’t be surprised if either player is useful later this season, but for right now you can drop one or both. I like the idea of picking up Swift/Pres Williams

      The counter you offered is better, but still selling low. I think you should be able to salvage pre-draft market value for Mixon in a couple of weeks.

      You can try to sell Godwin at a discount since he is injured. Maybe for a Tyler Boyd type? Other than that you look good. How do your total points for comparison to the league? sometimes record is not a true measure of how your team is doing. Just bad matchup luck.

      John, honestly with this trade it about your team needs. Moss hasn’t flashed at all but then again its only been two games then he hurt his toe. Green may be dust so I can see why you want to ship them off. Question is how bad do you need a RB2/3? I have less than no faith in Gurley he looks really bad. Brian Hill looks like he is the one with the most juice in that backfield. That being said, Gurley will score you Fantasy Points and thats what its all about. He has a VERY low ceiling though as he isn’t being targeted very much. 7 targets this season. If you need to win this week I would do the deal.
