Week 6 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

Slim pickings this week, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles when half the league is questionable. Here’s the grab going into Week 6…

Running Back

David Johnson, Texans

Johnson has led the Texans in total yards 3 of the last 4 weeks, and played 31% of snaps in Week 5. If Danny Amendola sits, he should get even more usage as a pass-catcher underneath.

Demetric Felton, Browns

With no Nick Chubb this week, Kareem Hunt will take over as the lead back for Cleveland, elevating the electric Felton to receiving back. He’s shown his potential in spurts, so hopefully he can string together enough action to make him worthwhile in ppr formats.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots

Damien Harris is questionable going into Week 6, and Rhamondre Stevenson has been getting worked into the offense more. It doesn’t help Harris’ chances that he fumbled on the 1-yard line in Week 5. Stevenson has an outside shot to see the majority of backfield touches for the Pats against Dallas.

Wide Receiver

Nelson Agholor, Patriots

The Pats are going to have to put up some points to keep up with the Cowboys, and Agholor is their deep ball specialist. He’s going to get some opportunities to break open some big plays. Let’s hope he can bring a couple in.

Adam Humphries, Washington

With Terry McLaurin potentially sitting and Curtis Samuel already out, Humphries makes for a fine PPR play in deeper formats. DeAndre Carter makes for a deep sleeper

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions

St. Brown is coming off back-to-back 8 target 65+ yard games, and he’ll face a Bengals secondary this week that seems to be getting worse.

Darius Slayton, Giants

If Slayton can make the field this week, he’ll be the deep element in an improving Giants offense. He was off to a solid start before injuring himself in Week 3, so don’t be afraid in playing him if he’s good to go.

Tight End

Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington

RSJ took over for an injured Logan Thomas in Week 5, receiving 9 targets in his stead. He’ll go against a KC defense that is the 5th best matchup for TEs in football.

David Njoku, Browns

It’s impossible to ignore a 149 yard, 1 TD monster from any tight end, and We’ve seen Njoku blow up already in Week 1 in addition to his Week 5 career day. The Cardinals do cover TE’s well though so he’s a longshot.

Quarterback

Carson Wentz, Colts

Wentz may be a real NFL QB after all, perhaps he just needed a change of scenery. In his new home of Indianapolis, Wentz isn’t winning games, but at least he’s compiling decent enough stats to start him in fantasy. 400+ yards and 2 TDs in Week 5 against Baltimore in Week 5, and now he faces the discombobulated Texans in Week 6.

Think I would go Wentz- in fact I did in my home league over Cousins- it is obviously very close. I prefer Darnold when CMC returns
