Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 2
It’s Week 2 and we’re already sifting around for smelly answers to Week 1 injuries and letdowns. Fortunately, we don’t have to dig too deep to find some sensible streamers going into the weekend…

Running Back
Rachaad White, Buccaneers
White is the clear no.2 back in an offense that is rife with injuries to its WRs in Wk2. With 8 touches in Wk1, White is in line for even more action against a Saints team that has given up the 10th most points to RBs this season. Even if you don’t use him this week, he’s someone to stash on your bench.

Zack Moss, Bills
Moss got the most touches of any Bills back in Wk1(12). He only came away with 36 yards, but his involvement is apparent, especially with James Cook getting off to a shaky start. The Bills play Tennessee this week, a team that defended the run well last season, but is a top ten matchup based on Wk1.

Wide Receiver
Romeo Doubs, Packers
Doubs was the most promising of the lot of Packers WRs in Wk1, catching 4 of 5 targets for 37 yards. With upside to spare and youth on his side, he’s the guy on that offense who I’d be most willing to take a shot on, especially if Allen Lazard sits again.

Donovan Peoples-Jones, Browns
DPJ was the leading WR(6/60) and target getter(11) for the Browns in Wk1, and though I don’t think he has usurped Amari Cooper as the no.1 in that offense, he’s undoubtedly the no.2. option in the receiving game. Double-digit targets is more than enough reason to flex him in deep leagues against the Jets.

Parris Campbell, Colts
The late week losses of Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce thrust Campbell into a possible leading role for the Colts against Jacksonville in Wk2. This is more of a PPR special, but Campbell is going to get plenty of targets against a middling Jaguar secondary.

Tight End
Tyler Conklin, Jets
With 7 targets and a score in Wk1, Conklin makes for an excellent streamer in fantasy as a consistent underneath target for Joe Flacco. Facing the Browns this week, Conklin makes for a solid option for owners who may have to fade another George Kittle absence. Also, it’s looking like CJ Uzomah will be out.

Quarterback
Marcus Mariota added 72 yards and a score on the ground in addition to putting up 215 yards in the air in Wk1 versus the Saints. This week, he faces a Rams squad that just allowed Jared Allen to run roughshod over them for 56 yards and a TD, so I am bullish on Mariota and his legs in this one.

    Send my: RB Montgomery, TE Everett
    Receive his: TE Pitts

    He’s still got Hockenson to boot, but Everett has outperformed both through two weeks. I think this is more of a buy-low on Pitts, but I don’t have a great TE option if Everett doesn’t sustain this production (and once Allen comes back, I don’t see it).

    I think he needs the RB injection, and I want to open a spot to add J Williams as a handcuff to Swift.

    Is the send too rich? I played Montgomery in the flex this week, where I could’ve played C Samuel, Gabe Davis, Waddle (oops, but I also have Tyreek Hill), Drake London. I had a great bench week.
