Robinson has fallen off a fantasy cliff since the 2021 season, his last full season with the Jaguars. Since moving on to the Jets, the Patriots and now to the ranks of the free agents as of Monday, Robinson’s once rising star is fading. Robinson was never a special physical talent, but he was buoyed by a relentless running style and consistent durability during his time as a starter. The achilles tear that he suffered in late 2021 seems to have hampered his attempts to return to the form that helped him win fantasy leagues for 2 seasons, and he may never get another real opportunity to regain a lead back role. He’s out of the rankings until he gets another sniff.

Jelani Woods, TE

Woods, at 6’7” 265 lbs is already a physical specimen. Throw in the fact that he ran a 4.61 forty, the fastest time by a TE of his size in 20 years, and you have a size/speed combo that would be a shame to go unutilized. New Colts HC Shane Steichen hails from Philly, where Dallas Goedert played a crucial role in his offensive schemes, and Woods is the only TE option in Indy who can stretch the field like Goedert can. There’s currently a lot of competition at TE for the Colts, but Woods looks like the front-runner to be consistently fantasy relevant in 2023.

Trent Sherfield, WR

Almost everyone wants 2nd year speedster Khalil Shakir to win the 3rd WR role for the Bills, a role that can be very lucrative fantasy wise in the right hands, but early accounts out of Bills camp have newly acquired veteran Trent Sherfield leading the race to assume that role thus far. I’ve never been especially keen on Shakir, who failed to impress me at last year’s Senior Bowl, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Sherfield keeps the slot mostly to himself. Sherfield isn’t a special player, but he deserves consideration at the very end of the rankings.
