Dynasty Rankings Updates (7/17/23): Alvin Kamara, Michael Carter, Nico Collins

Dynasty Rankings Update: 7/17/23

Alvin Kamara, RB Saints
Age: 28
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 55
Updated Rank: 52
Kamara just settled his civil suit with the man who he got in a fight with in Las Vegas during the 2022 Pro Bowl weekend, and it appears as if the dust is finally starting to settle concerning the whole ordeal. Of course the NFL could still suspend him, which would incur an appeal from his camp and further drag out the process, but it’s looking more and more like Kamara will skate on this one. I’m inching him up the rankings bit by bit and getting value on him in best ball formats.

Michael Carter, RB Jets
Age: 22
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 150
Updated Rank: 140
It looks like Carter is in line to be the no.2 behind a Breece Hall who may but probably won’t be ready to start the season at full speed for the Jets. A Dalvin Cook signing looms overhead, but for Carter looks like value if he can hold off rookie Izzy Abanikanda and UDFA Zonathan Knight. Carter is underrated as a runner and can handle between the tackle and passing downs better than his smaller stature would indicate.

Nico Collins, WR Texans
Age: 24
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 165
Updated Rank: 156
Collins is running as Texans rookie QB CJ Stroud’s favorite target thus far in off season practices. The largest and longest of Houston’s WR corps, Collins makes for a primary redzone target in addition to being able to stretch the field. Piss poor QB play has stifled his short career to this point, so there’s plenty of room to grow from his 37/481/2 line in 10 games in 2022.

Hi there! Checking in to see when a half ppr/non ppr version of the cheat sheet will be available.

    Thanks!

      Was wondering the same.

      1. Hey guys, Byron oversees that sheet, and his schedule is always to get up v1.0 before he leaves for his leg of the training camp tour — so with training camps kicking off on the 25th, I would expect it sometime around then. We appreciate your patience as the “original/standard” cheat sheet is always the last one out. Thanks again.

  2. I need trade help please.
    $300 budget, 7 keepers $5 yearly bump $16 every 4 years.
    Trade #1 I give up Lamb $35 Diggs $61 I get Chase $40

    Trade =2 I give up Lamb $35 I get D. Pierce $ 43 Olave $39

    Trade %3 I give up Lamb $35 I get Mattison $14 London $37
Should I take any of these trades or sit tight? Thanks!

    1. The only one I would consider would be the one where you get Chase, but everyone is offering you deals because Lamb at that price is absurd. Chase is at a good price, too, but it feels like you are giving up two major studs to get it done. In the end, I think I might hold tight or counter offer something a little less valuable alongside Lamb to get Chase at $40.

I have a dilemma. I’m in a 10-team .5 PPR Keeper league. This is our second year keeping and I can keep 2. Kelce in the 3rd, DaVonte Smith in the 9th, and Olave in the 10th. Initially I was set on Kelce and Smith, but I’m not so sure anymore. Barring any major injuries, what should I do?

Kelce and Olave, brother! Sorry about the wait on response!
