Trashman’s Favorite Quarterback/Tight End Stacks in Best Ball
Trashman’s Best Ball Quarterback – Tight End Stacks
Less implemented in Best Ball than QB-WR stacks, but conceivably equally or more potent in some cases, is the QB-TE stack. These are some of my favorite routes to run during Best Ball drafts…
Kirk Cousins – TJ Hockenson
Hockenson is just as much or more of a beast in purple and gold as he was in Detroit blue. He’s a vital red-zone option, but Hockenson can also move the chains like few others- He caught 10 passes for 129 yards in the Vikings most recent playoff loss. Emerging as the no.2 receiving option for the Vikings in 2022, Hockenson will face a challenge from Jordan Addison for targets, but he’ll serve as a dynamic safety blanket for a Kirk Cousins who gets off to notoriously slow starts going downfield. Adding Addison is a coup de grace for a high upside stack.
Daniel Jones – Darren Waller
It didn’t take long for Waller to take the lead in the Giants passing game this offseason, creating a rock solid foundation with Jones. The sometimes befuddling QB seems to have found his footing with the aid of HC Brian Daboll – he was QB10 in fantasy points per game last season – and Waller makes for a consistent target and red-zone lightning rod as Jones continues to progress as an NFL QB. You can easily bolster this stack through the addition of really any of the Giants WRs, as they’ll all be reasonably easy to come by in drafts.
Desmond Ridder – Kyle Pitts
Ridder had a suspect rookie season, but the Falcons did nothing to indicate that he’ll be challenged for the QB job this year. His prowess as a runner makes him a viable fantasy option on a weekly basis. Pitts has failed to live up to expectations as well, but it usually takes until year 3 for an NFL TE to come into his own, and guess what year it is for the uber athlete. The duo is bolstered by what is one of the softest strength of schedules for any receiving group this season, and there are few worthwhile Falcons pass-catchers after Pitts and WR Drake London.

Hey guys looking forward to another great season. Need some help with keepers. League format is 2 QB super flex Ppr. Here are the players I’ve narrowed my choice down to. Patrick Mahomes, Justin Fields, Saquon Barkley, Ceedee Lamb, Garett Wilson, breece Hall or Kyle Pitts. I can keep 3 with no restrictions.
Oh baby!!!!
Slam Dunk -> Patrick Mahomes, CeeDee Lamb,
The Question for me -> Justin Fields, Saquon Barkley, Garrett Wilson
Eliminated -> Kyle Pitts, Breece Hall
Keepers… Mahomes, Lamb and Justin Fields (just can’t pass up on a guarantee at QB – Wilson is so tough to step over, but the 2 QB format definitely helps sway that)
