Dynasty Rankings Updates (8/14/23): Kenneth Gainwell, Skyy Moore, Tank Dell
Dynasty Rankings Update: 8/14/23
Kenneth Gainwell, RB Eagles
Age: 24
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 162
Updated Rank: 147
Gainwell is getting the majority of first team reps on the ground for the Eagles over Rashaad Penny, which comes as a surprise, as Gainwell is historically more of a passing game specialist. Gainwell is smallish for a 2-down back, at 200 lbs on the dot, but he’s performed well in the role thus far in camp. He can be had for peanuts in virtually all formats right now and deserved a boost across the board in fantasy rankings.
Tank Dell, WR Texans
Age: 23
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 166
Updated Rank: 157
Dell didn’t test exceptionally well at the Combine speed wise (4.49 sec), considering that’s what he hung his hat on, but his ankle-breaking antics at the Senior Bowl, and now at Texans camp, are impossible to ignore. He’s getting open with ease in off season practices, and he just posted a 5/65/1 line in his first preseason game against the Patriots where he was lined up as a starter. His impressive performance came mostly against the 2nd team defense, but Dell’s on-field prowess is tangible. Game speed is what counts, and Dell has it in spades.
Skyy Moore, WR Chiefs
Age: 22
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: 124
Updated Rank: 121
Kadarius Toney is out, as usual, with a knee injury, and Moore has been running exclusively with the 1st team in KC. He’s notably the only KC receiver to be doing so outside of Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Both Rashee Rice and Justyn Ross have been mixing in, but they’re predominantly playing with the 2nd team. With ample targets up for grab in one of the NFL’s best offenses, Moore’s ceiling is sky high if he can keep up the momentum.
