Dynasty Rankings Updates (8/21/23): Khalil Shakir, Trey Palmer, Rico Dowdle
Dynasty Rankings Update: 8/21/23
Khalil Shakir, WR Bills
Age: 23
Movement: Falling
Previous Rank: 206
Updated Rank: 250
Shakir has fallen to 5th on the depth chart in Buffalo, after being lauded as the potential starting slot WR for the Bills going into camp. I never liked Shakir much as a prospect going back to last year’s Senior Bowl, where he showed decent quickness but little else. When guys like Trent Sherfield and Deonte Harty have your number, it’s time to take a dive in the rankings.
Trey Palmer, WR Buccaneers
Age: 23
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: unranked
Updated Rank: 232
Palmer has the inside track to start at the slot in Tampa, now that Russell Gage is out for the year. Already scoring twice in preseason action, Palmer is making a strong case for himself, even though Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have both sat out in preseason games thus far. Armed with 4.33 speed and big game potential – He set the Nebraska record for yardage in a single game(237 yards) – Palmer has the playmaking ability to do the most with an underwhelming QB, which will definitely be the case in Tampa.
Rico Dowdle, RB Cowboys
Age: 25
Movement: Rising
Previous Rank: unranked
Updated Rank: 249
Deuce Vaughn looks set to have a role in the Dallas backfield, but the Cowboys still have room for a short-yardage bruiser, and Dowdle is fitting the mold more than Malik Davis at this point in the evaluation process. Dowdle was the first back on the field in Saturday’s preseason matchup with Seattle, and he caught a TD for his troubles – He also averaged a solid 4.8 YPC. Dowdle’s play has Davis on the outside looking in on one of the league’s most prolific offenses, enough so to warrant him making an appearance in the rankings at the tail end.

If Jonathan Taylor doesn’t play in week 1, what Colts RB would you pick up? Cheat sheet seems to suggest Hull who might be competing with Deon Jackson for the pass catching RB role.
Like Hull for the season, if Moss is healthy, probably will like him better for Week 1.
Utilizing your tool I drafted the following in an ESPN PPR league.
Starters
Prescott
McCaffery
Walker III
AJ Brown
G Wilson
Hockenson
Lockett
49s Def
Carlson
Bench
Pierce
Montgomery

Offered: Allen, Diggs & Sanders for McCaffery, G Wilson & Prescott
Should I take the trade?
that team is awesome, why would you want to mess with it? No deal.
