Louis Rees-Zammit, Chiefs
Age: 23

The former rugby phenom ran a 4.43 forty and was signed to a three-year deal, with guaranteed money and a signing bonus, so the Chiefs plan on using him. LRZ has never played organized football, but he should be a quick study who’s not asked to do more than run or catch the ball and get downfield. He’ll probably contribute on special teams from the get-go, but he could soon work his way up on a roster that is starving for more consistent playmakers besides Travis Kelce and Isiah Pacheco. He’s a speculative add, but the dynasty implications are enough to get him on the rankings.

Rashee Rice, Chiefs

Movement: Falling

With the impending fallout from Rice’s involvement in a 6 car pileup stemming from a street race and the probable addition of a high-end rookie from the 2024 NFL draft to the roster (not to mention the signing of Marquise Brown), Rice’s once shooting star is starting to dimmer a bit. All of these situations are somewhat pending as far as their effects on Rice’s fantasy stock, but there’s enough smoke here to drop Rice in the rankings for the time being.

Josh Reynolds, Broncos
Age: 29

Reynolds was surprisingly useful in Detroit last season, posting a 40/608/5 line. He could slot in as the no.2 WR in Denver behind Courtland Sutton to start the season, with Jerry Jeudy moving on to Cleveland. We don’t know who will be under center for the Broncos yet, but Reynolds should put up serviceable numbers at worst as a rangy possession receiver in Sean Payton’s offense.
