RosterWatch Week 2 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. would $26 on Likely be crazy? what’s the max if i’m in need. in a league where I have no idea what anyone will bid.. my teams solid, I already have Dobbins so no one I need on waivers more than Likely. I have Kincaid…

    1. I don’t think you need to go to $26, I might try $21 if you really want him but you know your league better than I do.

Have waiver claim #2 in a league that priority only resets after you use your claim. Is likely really worth moving to the end of priority. I typically like to get to the top spot to hold for that big pickup during the season. I need a TE bad but planning to stream till I find one. Would you burn up the 2nd spot for likely?

    1. This early in the season it is really nice to have that early priority. I would not fault you for holding off on Worthy if you like other TE streaming options on the wire. You will kick yourself if the No.1 WW priority guy uses his this week and you’d have been at No.1 next week if a big injury occurs.

Why is Demarcus Robinson ranked lower on waivers than A Mitchell?

    1. We’re looking at season long value as well as for this week. Nakua will return at some point, and Mitchell is a special player who has tremendous upside

  4. Is Jaylen Wright worth waiver priority? Don’t own any Miami backs. Currently rolling Javonte Williams as my rb2

    1. He does, but we’re not sure how much until we know if Achane plays this week. If he doesn’t Wright could have decent value, though Jeff Wilson will be in play too

  5. Drafted Kincaid & Likely in a 12 team Half PPR league. TE can be used in a flex. My RBs are Walker, Javonte, Brooks/Chubba, Wright, & Davis. Would you move Likely for an RB? Who would be a good target in a trade?

    Thanks

  6. I have CMC and no viable replacement, how much of my $100 fab should I bid. I assume at least 4 other teams will be bidding ?

  7. Sorry, for J Mason
