Trashman’s Week 4 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 4

Beggars can be choosers here in the Garbage Grab, and we’ve got a trove of waiver wire finds to keep your anxiety high but manageable this week…

Running Back

Kareem Hunt, Chiefs – 34% rostered

Hunt will see his first action as a Chief this season, we just don’t know how much action we will see. Carson Steele did fine as a starter last week, but there’s plenty of room for Hunt to make a mark for himself against a Chargers team that’s not easy to run right into. If he does well, Hunt could become an integral part of the Chiefs offense.

Roschon Johnson, Bears – 25% rostered

Johnson(12/62) was Chicago’s most effective runner last week, and the staff intimated that he could see more snaps moving forward. An asset as a runner and a pass-catcher, Johnson could eat versus a soft Rams front.

Wide Receivers

Mike Williams, Jets – 22% rostered

Williams is getting healthier by the week, and with Garrett Wilson potentially getting shadowed by Patrick Surtain this week, he is in line to see a bump in targets. The Jets are getting hot as an offense, and Williams is a cheap entry to their world.

Tre Tucker, Raiders – 3% rostered

Tucker will play opposite Jakobi Meyers in an offense that will be without Davante Adams this week. Tucker is a big play receiver who could get some downfield shots, especially if the Raiders trail early.

Xavier Legette, Panthers – 13% rostered

Adam Thielen is out this week, arguably putting Legette into the no.2 WR spot against a Cincy team that Panther’s QB Andy Dalton will want to take revenge against.

Tight End

Elijah Higgins, Cardinals – 3% rostered

Higgins has his work cut out for him against a Commanders team that defends TEs well, if not any other position, but he’ll get starters snaps as Trey McBride is out this week. TE has been a key part of the Cardinal’s offensive scheme this season, so Higgins has considerable upside as a streamer.

Quarterback

Andy Dalton, Panthers – 13% rostered

Dalton went off in his first week as a starter for Carolina this season, throwing for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. He’s got extra fuel for his red-headed fire this week, as the Panthers will face his former team, the Bengals.
