RosterWatch Week 5 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    Currently have Achane & Braelon Allen as RB1&2, while McCaffrey and Jonathon Brooks ride the bench. On the bench have Ray Davis, Roschon Johnson, and Emmanuel Wilson for RB. Trying to see if dropping any of them for guys higher on the cheat sheet makes sense. Needing mid to long-term roster development with injury uncertainty I think.

    Who should I prioritize, and who should I drop?

      I’d go after Fields, Wicks and Bigsby in that order. you can drop Johnson and potentially even AR

    Think it’s safe to drop Rashee in a keeper league? Thinking suspension coupled with this injury, probably dust for 2024 no? Also I have Pacheco on IR so he’s just be a wasted bench. Go hard in the paint for Wicks?
    Also Tucker Craft of Kmet??

      I’d say so, and i’d go hard in on Wicks if you need wins now. Watson will come back eventually and I don’t know that Love can support 4 WRs on a weekly basis, I don’t know anyone who can. I’d say Kraft for now

    With nabers potentially out this week, I need a flex play. Do I plug in rachaad white this Thursday and hope nabers doesn’t play? Or drop zamir white or roschon and pick up either wandale, Keon, or Whittington to play this week? I suppose I could drop my kicker instead of one of those players while I wait, but either way, what do you guys think? Hate that rachaad isn’t playing Sunday but on Thursday

      If Nabers is limited tomorrow, then he’ll be on track to play so let’s see what happens and hopefully you’ll have him back, he was concussed on a TNF game so it doesn’t have to be as quick a turnaround to have him play this week as it usually would be, he’s had three extra days.
