Trashman’s Week 6 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

The Grab stinks good this week, as there are more than a few solid starts in the mix. If these guys can’t help you this week, no one can…

Running Back

Tyrone Tracy,Giants – 37% rostered

Tracy gets the starting nod again this week, after gashing the Seahawks for 130 yards and a score. He’ll get another middling matchup in the Browns, one that he shouldn’t have trouble exploiting.

Tyler Allgeier, Falcons – 28% rostered

Allgeier is flirting with double-digit targets on a weekly basis, and this week he faces a Panthers defense that’s our best matchup for opposing RBs. Carolina is missing key defenders, and the Falcons could run away with this one, getting even more garbage time love for Allgeier.

Wide Receivers

Jalen Tolbert, Cowboys – 33% rostered

Tolbert was on his way to becoming the no.2 WR in Dallas, even when Brandin Cooks wasn’t out with injury. Coming off a 7/87/1 line in WK5, the rocked up Tolbert will have his way with the soft Detroit secondary.

Darius Slayton, Giants – 23% rostered

Slayton packed on 122 yards and a score against Seattle last week with Malik Nabers sidelined, and he’ll get the opportunity to keep up the good work against a run of the mill Bengals secondary. A big play WR, Slayton can do major damage if given ample targets, which will be the case.

Rashod Bateman, Ravens – 10% rostered

Bateman has scored in 2 of his last 3 contests, and he’ll get a nice boost playing against arguably the league’s worst secondary in the Commanders. He’s a gamble, but the matchup is so right.

Tight End

Zach Ertz, Commanders – 25% rostered

Ertz is pretty consistent, which speaks volumes in today’s TE landscape. Ertz had 10 targets last week, and with Brian Robinson out, he’s bound to get close to that number of looks again in WK6. His ceiling isn’t that high, but you could do worse in a pinch.

Quarterback

Daniel Jones, Giants – 19% rostered

Jones fared well in fantasy last week, even with no Nabers, throwing for 257 yards and 2 scores. He’ll get the best matchup for QBs that he’ll have had this season this week, when Cincy comes to town, so he’s a safe bet to put up serviceable numbers at worse.

  1. Amari Cooper out, Flacco in at OP ✅.

  2. Well. It barely worked out. In my league Flacco had 13.66 and Amari Cooper only 8.2.

  3. We sampled a lot today. We has a hot dog and a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. Then ribs from Rollin Smoke. A cheeseburger & Guy’s fries at Guy Fieri’s, and vegetarian pizza from Pizza Rock. We’re covering the stadium.

wtf, Najee Harris. He has not done that in 3 years. I know, I’ve had him.
