Cody Carpentier’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft 3.0

The College Football regular season is complete and the Playoffs are underway. I am here to bring you version 3.0 of my 2025 NFL Mock Draft Series. As every year, the Playoffs can vault some players up or down depending on performance, just like C.J. Stroud in 2023 against the Georgia Bulldogs. Picks will change, Some players may return to school, and Teams will trade between now and the final declaration date of January 24th.

The NFL has become a year-round league, from the season, free agency, the draft, and offseason OTA’s to fall camp, the league never sleeps, and neither do we at RosterWatch. Alex and I finished in the middle of the pack in 2024 for the Huddle Report competition, while our guy Mike Band took home 2nd place. So it’s back to the drawing boards and time to begin research on the 2025 class not only to improve our mock draft skills but also to enhance our Dynasty Fantasy Football overview.

Round 1 – (Pick 1-32)

No. 1 – New York Giants – Cam Ward, QB – Miami (FL)

While I’ve been a big fan of Cam Ward since his first season at Washington State in 2022, I still do not visualize him as a true 1.01 in almost any NFL Draft. But this isn’t a normal year, very good offensive tackles, but not generational, solid quarterbacks, but not great, and no truly dominant EDGE rusher. As a result, the Giants get their new signal caller, hopefully in a post-Joe Schoen-era.

No. 2 – New England Patriots – Travis Hunter, CB – Colorado

The most talented prospect on the draft board will figure to begin his career opposite Christian Gonzalez (WOW!!) while earning reps on offense because we all know the Patriots could use it. There are many needs for the Pats this year, including a Tackle or Wide Receiver, but with a talent like Hunter available here, you sprint the card up to Commissioner Goodell.

No. 3 – Jacksonville Jaguars – Kelvin Banks, OT – Texas

After trading Cam Robinson to Minnesota, the Jaguars swing tackle Walker Little has taken over at Left Tackle and out-performed second-year right tackle Anton Harrison. Banks can slot in on day 1 at left tackle, while also projecting well as a left guard to begin his career if it allows the 5 best lineman to be on the field at the same time.

No. 4 – Las Vegas Raiders – Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado

Sanders is the most mentally prepared quarterback in the 2024 draft class, with average arm strength and athleticism, When compared to the 2023 NFL Draft class at quarterback, Sanders would project as the 7th to come off of the board, after Michael Penix and Bo Nix.

No. 5 – Tennessee Titans – Will Campbell, OT – LSU

Another draft, another lineman. Campbell allows the Titans to move JC Latham back to right tackle and protect whoever the quarterback is in 2025 with three consecutive first-round offensive linemen.

No. 6 – Cleveland Browns – Mason Graham, DL – Michigan

The Cleveland Browns have mover than one positional need, and defensive tackle may no be first in line. However, without a first-round pick since 2021 when they drafted Greg Newsome, the Browns would have just one real choice, if Mason Graham is available. Trade Down or Draft Graham. The Browns haven’t drafted an interior defensive lineman in Round 1 since 2015, paying guys like Shelby Harris and Dalvin Tomlinson in free agency, year over year. It’s time to draft a sure thing!

No. 7 – Carolina Panthers – Tetairoa McMillan, WR – Arizona

No. 8 –New York Jets – Abdul Carter, EDGE – Penn State

No. 9 – Chicago Bears – Josh Simmons, OT – Ohio State

No. 10 – New Orleans Saints – Nic Scourton, EDGE – Texas A&M

No. 11 – San Francisco 49ers – Will Johnson, CB – Michigan

No. 12 – Miami Dolphins – Aireontae Ersery, OT – Minnesota

No. 13 – Indianapolis Colts – Benjamin Morrison, CB – Notre Dame

No. 14 – Cincinnati Bengals – Mykel Wiliams, EDGE – Georgia

No. 15 – Dallas Cowboys – Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State

No. 16 – Arizona Cardinals – Jalon Walker, LB – Georgia

No. 17 – Seattle Seahawks – Cam Williams, OT – Texas

No. 18 – Atlanta Falcons – Kenneth Grant, DL – Michigan

No. 19 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jahdae Barron, CB – Texas

No. 20 – Los Angeles Chargers – Tyler Warren, TE – Penn State

No. 21 – Houston Texans – Deone Walker, DL – Kentucky

No. 22 – Denver Broncos – Josh Conerly Jr., OT – Oregon

No. 23 – Los Angeles Rams – Colston Loveland, TE – Michigan

No. 24 – Washington Commanders – Luther Burden, WR – Missouri

No. 25 – Pittsburgh Steelers – Shavon Revel, CB – East Carolina

No. 26 – Baltimore Ravens – Wyatt Milum, OT – West Virginia

No. 27 – Green Bay Packers – Walter Nolan, DL – Ole Miss

No. 28 – Philadelphia Eagles – Malaki Starks, S – Georgia

No. 29 – Buffalo Bills – Tyleik Williams, DL – Ohio State

No. 30 – Minnesota Vikings – Trey Amos, CB – Ole Miss

No. 31 – Detroit Lions – Shemar Stewart, EDGE – Texas A&M
