Hey guys. Love the pre-draft content. So my first draft is coming up on Wed night. It’s my son and his friends so need to dominate the little punks. I’m drafting last in a 13 team league. We have 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 flex, 1 TE. In many of the practice drafts I almost fill like at 13th I have to take the two best RB because by the time it comes back around the top ones will be gone and it seems like I can make up with getting some decent WRs later on and maybe some good tight ends for the TE or flex.
Typical practice draft results:
1-Barkley,
2-C Brown,
3-Egbuka,
4-Loveland (seems like I always end up with Loveland and sheet tells me to pick him)
5-C Watson (almost always get a choice with Henderson just leary of Henderson right now),
6-Kraft (if not I almost always have to go to the next lower level – but with the flex I dont mind having an extra tight end);
7-J Brooks,
8-C Godwin,
9-J Mason,
10-Quentin Johnston,
11-J Tyson,
12-Jared Goff
I’d like to know what you think in general, but it almost always seems like around the 10 round the sheet has me take another WR or RB because the QB is so far lower than the others I can’t justify a QB until the 11th or 12th round. Thoughts?
Thanks for the content!
Thx for all your support dude. man, the fact is, once you get past a certain tier of QB, they’re just varying shades of the same type of player projection-wise. That’s why the sheet has you wait because eventually there’s just a pile of guys at the point where most people would strike while the sheet understands they’ll still be there in another round or two. Jared Goff is an awesome QB to select in this range who typically falls, especially in a 13 team league (which is a wild setup btw)! Best of luck with the draft with your kid and his friends. What a blessing to share such a fun tradition with them, I’m looking forward to it with my son here in a few years.
Hello Rosterwatch, long time Pro Member, looking for some advice. I want to add a potential sleeper pick to add to my PPR team, since I will have an open spot when I drop J.Conner.
I’m looking at adding either WR Cyrus Allen or Chris Bell, or RB Emmett Johnson, or B.Allen to handcuff Breece. I feel I have depth at WR (CeeDee, Egbuka, Pittman, Coker, K.Concepcion, BTJ, & Jordyn Tyson)
and
my RBs are Breece,, Dowdle, T.Henderson, C.Rodriguez Jr, M.Lloyd, Chris Brooks & J.Conner)
Or should I keep Conner on the bench?
Forgot to mention that my PPR League starts
2 WRs
2 RBs
2 Flex Spots
