RosterWatch Week 4 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. Your cheat sheet has me undefeated in 3 leagues but I have a TE problem in my home league. Have J Ferguson and Dalton Shultz. Should I just stream those 2 or pick up Waller, Dulcich , Hockenson or Gadsden? If so, which current TE should I drop? Thanks.

    1. I would prioritize Sadiq over those guys if he’s available, but if not, I think you’re fine to keep platooning Schultz and Ferg

  2. Waiver wire issues

QB — I have Caleb Williams and Matt Stafford (picked up when Dart went down) – should I stick with Stafford or drop him and try and pick up Stroud or Shough ? — thanks

    1. I would pick up Shough

  3. Waiver wire –RBs

    My RBs are
    Cook,
    J Williams
Judkins (in on about half of the snaps)
    Ray Davis

we can start 2 or 3 RBs
The following are on waivers – Ollie, Braelon, J.wright. kamara e Johnson – Would you drop Judkins or Davis for any of these?

    1. I would drop Ray Davis for all of those guys except maybe emmett johnson unless you are totally risk averse and just need to have the handcuff.

  4. Another waiver wire Q — I have Tucker Kraft – should i drop him for Juwan Johnson or Sadiq ?

Are any of these drop candidates for RB, QB or TE
    Josh Downs
    Michael Wilson
    Garett wilson
    Luther Burden III
    Jalen Coker
Jordyn Tyson (scooped him up from waivers last week)
    Thanks!

    1. Was thinking Jalen Coker or Jordyn Tyson as possible drop candidates.

      1. Think I lke Kraft this week in the No.5 matchup on the matchup tool.

  5. Chris Rodriguez is starting to fall behind Tuten, he’s a drop for all these guys right?

KC Concepcion has had an uptick in snaps percentage and targets (but has done nothing with it). Hold or pick up if he’s available?

    1. C Rod seems like he’s getting phased out. I would not worry much about dropping him for the top waiver guys.

  6. 12 team .5ppr league

We burning 2nd waiver priority for Allen or Gordon?

  7. Which players are droppable at this point? I gave some possible pickups.

    K.Pitts for Sadiq or Strange
D.Maye for k. Murray crazy question right?
    M. Pittman for J. Meyers
    R. White for O. Gordon
    W. Marks for B. Allen

    Thank you!

    1. drop pitts for Sadiq
I think I hold Maye, I know it’s hard if you hate him I wouldn’t fault you
Pittman for Meyers is a fine move to make if you want
I think that the four RBs you’ve listed are all sort of equal value right now. If you are looking for a possible long-term starter who has now had the injury ahead of him to open up real volume, that bet would be on Gordon, but it could not come to fruition for him. I would personally drop Marks for him but it depends on your roster needs.

  8. No more “fight on.”
    Go Ducks!

    1. Put Lincoln on that hot seat DOC!
