Trashman’s Week 8 Garbage Grab
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 8
It’s Halloween weekend, and while everyone else is out looking for candy, we’re digging through the fantasy football trash for a few treats. Welcome to this week’s Garbage Grab…
Running Back
Chris Rodriguez Jr., Jaguars – 25% rostered
Pickings are slim at RB this week, but Rodriguez has a bit of juice coming out of his WK7 bye, having either scored or ran for over 55 yards in 3 of his last 4 games. The ceiling isn’t high here, but Rodriguez should do enough to warrant flex consideration.
Wide Receivers
Ryan Flournoy, Cowboys – 32% rostered
Flournoy has scored or gained 70+ yards in his last 3 games, tying George Pickens in receptions in WK7. Pickens is questionable this week, so Flournoy could at best end up the no.2 target against Arizona and, at worst, the 2B.
Keon Coleman, Bills – 31% rostered
Coleman scored in 3 straight games before the WK7 bye, leading up to a top 10 matchup with the Ravens secondary. No longer entirely boom or bust, Coleman makes for a strong play in WK8.
Antonio Williams, Commanders – 23% rostered
It’s Williams, not Stefon Diggs, who Washington’s staff is saying will pick up the slack where an injured Terry McLaurin(knee) left off. The Eagles have one of the weakest secondaries in the league, so this is an excellent spot to give Williams a go.
Tight End
Mason Taylor, Jets – 4% rostered
Taylor has taken his starting/starring role back from Kenyon Sadiq, scoring twice in WK7. In another cherry matchup for TEs, Taylor is a safe start against the Raiders.
Quarterback
Geno Smith, Jets – 17% rostered
Smith was here last week, and he paid off for you then with 3 TDs thrown against Miami. There really isn’t a better option on the wire this week, as Smith gets an even better matchup against the Raiders. His floor is solid, and he now has the weapons to repeat last week’s effort.

Smith or Brissett?? Rough decision.
You may have missed this one. Good morning. — getting ready for the weekend. My only QB is Caleb Williams. Should I start him or pick up a streamer for this week. Brissett, Cousins, Darnold Mayfield and Smith are all available on waivers. What would you recommend?
If I did pick up a QB i need to find a drop – here are my options – Ray Davis (HC for Cook), Jordyn Tyson, Germie Bernard or Michael or Garrett Wilson. thanks
