A Paler Shade of White- Lesser Role for Roddy White?

Roddy White due for a lesser role this season?

With age comes wisdom (or at least candor in Falcons receiver Roddy White’s case.) The 30 year old White is admitting a diminished role in new OC Dirk Koetter’s offense, a pity considering he’s had five straight seasons of at least 1,000 yards and 6 TDs. Julio Jones and Harry Douglas stand to see an increase in productivity in Koetter’s designs, especially Jones, who in his second year should go bananas. I have a feeling though, that when the going gets tough, White will be the man that QB Matt Ryan leans on most heavily. I see a decline in yards for the reliable veteran, but I expect his touchdown total to remain consistent. Jones will be more useful, but not by much.
