Special: Thanksgiving Day NFL DFS Cheat Sheet (Draftkings, FanDuel)

rosterwatch_logo2014

RosterWatch Nation is maniacal; and has demanded a Thanksgiving Day cheat sheet. So, here you go.

A few things about the three-game slate: It’s filled with injury question marks and bad matchups. Furthermore, the slate unfolds salary-wise in a way that will lead to even more chalky duplicate-ownership than would usually be expected in a three-game contest.

In fact, for those entering into Thursday-Sunday contests, it’s not a bad idea to consider fading the slate and saving your bullets for Sunday outside of a few key players we’ll highlight who present reasonable ROI. We’ll have the regular DFS Cheat Sheet up on Friday.

But … everyone wants to play in the Thanksgiving games, and who can blame em?

The RW Crew wishes you safe travels and fantasy wins this holiday season.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving guys. First time asking a questions here. Buddy of mine asked me to co manage his team that is on the cusp of the playoffs. This week, Stafford or Bortles? 1 point for every 20 yards and 6 points per passing TD. I know the matchup and stats all point to Bortles but am I wrong that my cut is tell me Stafford will absolutely shred the Eagles lousy secondary?

    1. Bortles

    2. Guess I should have gone Stafford, unless Bortles has a career game….

  2. From Ian Rapoport on twitter says forte will starter in name only that the bears prefer langford cause more explosive

  3. 10 tm Standard: Pick 1 WR and 1 FLEX out of: Jeffery, Marshall, Diggs, L. Murray or even Andrews?

  4. Season long league and If I win, I’ll clynch playoff. Need help on who to play. Dez, t.williams, diggs, amendola. Can only have one. I’m scared of josh Norman. Am I over thinking it?

    1. I could play two, but I like double tight this week with barnidge and Reed and their match ups. It is ppr.

  5. 8 team standard league, tied for 1st (glad I subscribed to your site this year!)
    2RB, 2WR, & 1RB/WR Flex
I’m trying to improve my weakest area (RB) for the playoffs.
D Freeman, Lacy, Blount & Woodhead
I can’t figure out why Woodhead isn’t being used more. He has the toughest matchups through week 16 so considering dropping him now for Blue (Houston has favorable match-ups for RBs for those on waivers). Coleman is also available so considering him should Freeman be out longer than week 12. My concern is post-season and not really week 12.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    1. Freeman should be back next week. Concussions don’t linger once the player has passed protocol. Lacy is starting to come on, so that bodes well for you. Woodhead should be a good play this week, but Blue makes sense in the long run.

      1. Thanks Dorian. I appreciate your feedback. I’m not crazy about Blue, but Woodhead just isn’t being used like I think he can be; and, he has a tougher matchup weeks 13-16.
