Under-Owned Fantasy Football Sleepers Who Should Be Owned in 12-Team Leagues

I don’t know what’s wrong with people. (Editor’s note: People don’t know what the hell is wrong with you, either, Trashman.) I was compiling a list of players to go into my Cut Bait/Just Wait article, but I had to eschew the piece when I realized that there’s something more pressing I need to address. There are too many players that are going to help you win your fantasy weeks that are going unowned in most leagues. Instead of Cut Bait I’ve put together a list of players owned in less than 35% of leagues who need to be on your rosters sooner than later in 12 or more team leagues:

Greg Jennings WR, Vikings: Jennings has more points than Colston, Patterson, and Bowe on the year, yet he’s owned in less than half the leagues those guys are. His ceiling isn’t through the roof but his floor is usually around 7 pts.

Davante Adams WR, Packers: Adams is the third WR on the hottest offense in the NFL right now, and he’s scored at least 7 pts in standard leagues 5 of his last 6 games. Pick him up

John Brown WR, Cardinals: Brown has a rapport with QB Drew Stanton, and he should thrive this week with Fitz iffy and Floyd probably drawing Richard Sherman in coverage.  Brown is averaging 8 targets a game over his last 4 games.

Kenny Stills WR, Saints: Picking up Kenny should be a no brainer now that Brandin Cooks is sidelined.

Kenny Britt WR, Rams: Britt is the No.1 WR in St. Louis, and he’s playing like it. He’ll get close to 8 targets a week, and that alone is worth rostering him.

Bryce Brown RB, Bills: Even when FJax returns, Brown will remain heavily involved in the Bills’ offense.

Latavius Murray RB, Raiders: I imagine Murray’s owned percentage will go up after his monster last night, but I’m just letting you know the Raiders are going to ride him the rest of the way, and he needs to be on your team.

Allen Hurns WR, Jaguars: No Allen Robinson means Hurns is the defacto no.2 in Jacksonville. Now he has the targets to complement his ridiculous upside.

Jarvis Landry WR, Dolphins: Landry looks like Tannehill’s second favorite target on the field, and I think that connection will only get stronger.

Daniel Herron RB, Colts: Now the No.2 RB in football’s most explosive offense, Herron is only a Richardson misstep away from every week must start status. And Richardson missteps are very likely.

Michael Vick QB, Jets: Vick is playing mistake-free football. Add that to his ability to run the ball, and you have a pretty good fantasy QB.

Juwan Thompson RB, Broncos: Another No.2 on a dynamic offense, Thompson could start seeing meaningful reps on a weekly basis.

Chris Hogan WR, Bills: Yeah, I don’t know anything about him either, but he keeps showing up on the stat sheet. A PPR special, Hogan is worth flexing in the right matchups.
