Week 15 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. Given I was bit in the ass by the Moncrief and Big Ben bug last week — looking to next year does a fantasy owner need to be more aggressive in playing the pick up of a guy (maybe on these sheets) versus the “guys who got you there” Granted not many experts saw a 0 coming from moncrief but there were a lot of waiver wire guys who would have given me the 8 points in a PPR I would have needed for the win.

Or was I just a victim of Week 14 in FFB 2016???

This was my lowest scoring week of the year – a little bitter it came at the time it did.

    1. The dance with the girl you brought strategy – should only apply to your clear-cut outright studs. Guys like Moncrief, and Big Ben can definitely be benched for other matchup plays. Lesson learned.

Also- don’t be too hard on yourself- hindsight is 20/20, and the playoffs are always somewhat of a crapshoot. Getting there was where most of the skill was involved. Remember, only one team goes home happy every year. This is fuel for the offseason fire.

  2. Manning, smith, semien or bradford? I know these are my options.

    1. And what are the best options for replacing brees and winston — hard to trust these two?

      1. which of these do you like the best — Smith, Osweiler, braford, flacco or Mariotta? The other usual suspects are available too — dalton and kaeper

      2. Don’t hate Jameis at Dallas- but like Eli and Smith at home more.

    2. Manning or Smith

  3. Team RW, you guys don’t like Robby Anderson?

    1. Not for our playoff live’s. Maybe in a really deep format out of total desperation.

  4. For your playoff lives, do you start Cam or Jameis this week?

Also for that same playoff life, pick one: Edelman, Britt, Marvin Jones

Thanks guys! Semi’s in one league, first round in the other in my first year as RW Pro subscriber.

    1. First round bye***

    2. i lean Jameis. Cam hasn’t had a 300 yd game in 8 weeks. Edelman is your guy. Good luck!

  5. Drop Lafell for JJ Nelson? standard league.
Currently have Jordan Reed slotted in a WR/TE flex. Given that’s a Monday night game if I had to replace him I’d have to do it Sunday with wither Malcolm Mitchell (vs. Den), LaFell (vs. Pit), of JJ Nelson (vs. NO). I’m thinking JJ vs NO in a high scoring game. Suggestions? Hopefully this is a moot point if we know Reed is a go.

    1. Yes

  6. I survived!!!!
Not thanks to Wilson, Fitz, and Forte…..

    Thank you Bell and Eifert….

Have a request in for Powell (should have kept ahold of him a couple weeks ago)

Cousins, Winston, Siemian and Bradford are on the wire… do you trust any of these more than Wilson or Mariota over the next couple weeks… Wilson is at home now but….

    Thanks for all the insight!!!

  7. Cousins should be owned, and we’d take a long look at Winston. Look at all schedules involved- and never forget, most impotent is to win this week

  8. Currently have Stafford, would like to pick up Tyrod. Which one should I drop for Tyrod Taylor?

    Perkins or Devontae Booker?

  9. 12 team, ppr and I need 2
Mitchell, Garcon, Moncrief, Inman or Crowell

You guys are killing it this year. Thank you.

  10. 10 team standard

    Mariota, Prescott or Eli Manning?
    Also, Crabtree or Watkins?

Thanks for the Draft Sheets at the beginning of the year. Picked up Leveon Bell in the third round because he was the highest left on your draft sheet. That worked out pretty well last week since Derek Carr and A. Cooper crapped the bed. I am on to the next round!
Full point PPR Prescott or Carr?

Need three Cooper, Mitchell, Inman, T. Boyd, Watkins or Micheal Thomas (if he plays)

Thanks again for all your help all season!

    1. Carr

      Watkins, Cooper, Inman
