The Week 7 running back pickups are in. All players listed are less than 50% owned across standard fantasy football leagues.
Dallas rookie Joseph Randle, doesn’t have enough data on the season to be listed in the chart, but he is certainly the most talented candidate on the Cowboys roster to try and fill the void left by the DeMarco Murray injury. Phillip Tanner may also be worth a desperation look in super deep leagues.
Also, if Steven Jackson is still unable to return- Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling are on the waiver wire in many leagues. Both have been serviceable fantasy fill-ins with Jackson out. We prefer Rodgers to Snelling. Tampa Bay is a fairly difficult matchup for either.

Dirtiest and Smelliest great tool to have. Currently have both Ellington and Stacy in my 12 team league. I went into the draft soley focused on RBs and am still really weak at the position with DMartin, CJohnson, and LMiller.
haha – love both those guys moving forward but tough matchup for Ellington this week – martin will bounce back.
We certainly think those RBs as a group are very solid- if you play the matchups. CJ has a favorable schedule coming up- will be interesting to see what happens with Miller, who also has some nice matchups on horizon, coming off the bye- seems like his slow evolution should continue.
It’s quite a frustrating group I have there. I’m going to play Martin, Stacy, and Miller this week. Currently 6-0 but now that Randall cobb has gone down I’m pretty thin at multiple positions.
