2018 RosterWatch Ultimate Draft Cheat Sheet (PPR) Updated to V2.5

RosterWatch Nation, the time has come to once again dominate your fantasy drafts. The original epic three-step cheat sheet is now available for download to RosterWatch PRO members. Most of you have used the Cheat Sheet in previous seasons and you know it’s the simplest, most effective and most easy-to-use fantasy football draft tool on the market. It has been updated to v2.5 to account for patterns we are seeing more and more in experts leagues and early simulations and news from players reporting to camp.

The Cheat Sheet is a sheet of paper you print out, then mark off names as players go off the board. Last year, we added the online tool with functionality to be used in the same way — either on your computer or any mobile device you’d like. If you follow the three simple rules (even a toddler would have no problem understanding them), you are, as always, GUARANTEED and expert-quality draft.

Just don’t break the rules by bastardizing the sheet.

  1. Is the Superflex cheat sheet based on PPR scoring?

    1. It is designed to work for PPR and standard because it is tested versus 1/2 point PPR simulations to build the skeleton but tested on both PPR and standard to work for either.

  2. In a 14 team 1ppr keeper: What do you think of making a move where I trade Antonio brown for Keenan Allen then can draft Saquon Barkley. Otherwise I would draft probably jerrick McKinnon in the 2nd.

So it would be Brown and McKinnon or Allen and Barkley?

    1. Allen and Barkley has a nice ring to it. Either way you will be off to a solid start.

      1. That is what I am leaning towards. Get those young bucks to set my keepers up nicely for a few years ahead. There is also some uncertainty with AB having a new OC and McKinnon being in a new system.

        1. love the idea of those two as my cornerstones.

  3. Do you have an ETA on the standard cheat sheet? Just wondering

    1. next few days. any day now, it will be up before Byron heads to DEN training camp. That is this weekend so it will be soon.

      1. Awesome news! I do have another question about it. If we are drafting standard as opposed to snake, does that change how the cheat sheet works?

  4. Looking to change our league to Dynasty format. Any suggestions/recommendations for setting it up?

    1. The best place we’ve found for dynasty in MyFantasyLeague. You’ll love playing dynasty.

    Hello,
I’m in a 9 team keeper league and I can keep Russel Wilson with my 7th round pick. What do you think? My only other option is keeping T Coleman with a 9th pick. Can only keep one. thanks

    1. Gotta keep Wilson

  6. Post By Crazy Horse

hello — I have a suggestion for the cheat sheets. Is it possible to number the players in the 4 categories. For example Barkley would be 6th and Kelce and Rogers would be 1 — It would help in drafting if we could quickly see that the top 24 RBs go before picking Russell Wilson. Thanks

    1. That would be awfully close to bastardizing the cheat sheet. Remember the cheatsheet is not about rankings.

    2. not happening. trust the sheet.

    RWN truther, pro subscriber here:

I’m in a 10 team, ppr, snake draft, keeper league. For our upcoming draft I have the chance to keep DeAndre Hopkins for a second round pick, or Keenan Allen for a third. Draft order is random.

The logic is if I get a top 1-4 pick, Hopkins is great value at 2.07-2.10. But if I was to get pick 7-10, Allen has even better value at pick 3.07- 3.10.

    1. you have it exactly right brother. wait to see your draft slotting, both are amazing WR1s to keep at those values.

      1. Post By danielgoodwin24@gmail.com

Keepers are submitted before the draft slotting. Our way of keeping the league honest.

        1. How does that keep the league honest!? You can’t decide on a keeper before you know if you are drafting at the beginning or end of the round?

          1. Post By danielgoodwin24@gmail.com

Look it’s not that hard to comprehend. Last year for instance, I kept LeVeon Bell for a first round pick without knowing my draft position. If I pull the first pick there is absolutely zero value in that keeper. Luckily for me I pulled the last pick in first round. Now if I knew I had that pick, it’s a no brainer to keep him, and same if I know I’m picking first overall, I would keep someone else. Knowing your draft position first is the most cockamamie thing I’ve ever heard.

Feels so good to be a pro subscriber! Glad the NFL is just around the corner. Could I get some feedback on keeper selections?

    League 1: $200 budget, 2 keepers – Melvin Gordon ($22); TyFreek Hill ($29); Derrick Henry ($12); Joe Mixon ($27)
    • Melvin’s an obvious choice, but not sure who to take for the other keeper

    Leage 2: $200 budget, 1 keeper – Stefon Diggs ($19), Josh Doctson ($8), Fournette ($45); Jimmy Graham ($19); Jordy ($17); D’Onta Foreman ($5)
    • I know….not that much to choose from for value

    Thanks in advance!

I’ll try to help you out!

League 1: I would go Gordon and Henry.
League 2: Diggs (PPR) or Fournette (1/2 or std) I would say it depends on how your league values RB or if you think you can get the jump on your league mates with this years rookie RB’s, hard to pass up on Fournette though.

Hope that helps man good luck.

    2. I think the value on Henry at $12 is just too good, the others are priced around where they should be whereas Henry should probably be more like $19 or so- Melvin is the obvious bigtime keeper. In the second league, definitely keeping Diggs. We’d have you keep D’Onta but we’re worried he misses the first six weeks. You can get LF for cheaper than $45 in your auction this year. Maybe we’d keep Doctson or Graham. It’s tough in that one. Maybe something will happen through camp that solidifies your second keeper in that one.

      1. Thanks both of you! #RWNation

I’m in a 10 team, 1/2 ppr, snake draft, keeper league. If you could choose your drafting position which one would it be and why? This is not a theoretical Q. thanks

    1. Start up league? How will the keeper values work moving forward?

    2. Pick 4 so I can take whoever is available between Bell, Zeke, DJ and Gurley and then get the earlier pick in the second. Your valuable keepers are always going to come from later in the draft.

      1. Would it make any difference if Gordon Hopkins and Freeman were kept. Funny, the 4th pick was the first off the board. I have the 3rd and can move anywhere but 4. — so projected 3 picks based on maniacal CS.
if 3rd — one of the 4; then Evans Howard or Hilton and 3rd round Macaffrey or Hill

If 9th pick — Fournette or Beckham then Cook or Allen and 3rd round Guice or Juju

I’m thinking picking 3rd in a bit better. Your views? Thanks

        1. btw — Freeman is my keeper in 5th round

    Fellahs
Okay I have 2 days to make a decision.
    .5 ppr 10 tm auction
    200$ cap

I would like to have around 90 dollars to spend during the draft but I have some good guys where I wouldn’t have to dig too deep during the draft.

    I am planning on keeping
    Rivers at 4
    Hunt 10
    Evans 38
    Tyreek 12
    A Rob 20
Then likely keep dalvin at 33

I have the option to keep more
    Amari 20
    Drake 25
    J Gordon 24
    Shepard 5

I was debating cutting dalvin loose given his oline, so I’d have more cap to bid on guys like SB
I may be able to trade Cooper for Goodwin who is worth 3 bucks to keep as well.

    Thoughts

    1. That’s a little steep for A Rob given his schedule this year and I think you should keep Dalvin. I wish you didn’t have to decide now because I’d like to get our intel in from Bears and Raiders camps to decide between Amari and A Rob at the same price. We have preferred A Rob until now, but I just hated seeing his schedule when projecting the CB matchups and may have to look at altering those two on future updates to the cheat sheet.

  11. I just did a mock draft strictly sticking by the rules of picking highest player available and ended up with 1 RB, 1 TE and the rest WR. So…what rules do you use in filling out a complete team? What guidelines do you use to decide to take a a lower rated player to fill a position of need and a balanced team?

    Thanks

    1. That seems crazy but it can happen in the strangest of situations. Where did you do the mock and was it PPR? Was it against real people? Was there money on the line or were folks auto-drafting, etc? We’ve tested thousands of times and that simply doesn’t happen, in fact, it is usually slanted more towards stacking up RBs. If you do find yourself in that position in a real draft (which I HIGHLY doubt you will) feel free to deviate somewhat, but one of the features of the sheet is it typically steers you to a very balanced team with value at every turn.

  12. Are there any highstakes players/experts that you guys follow and value their opinion based on their track record?

    1. I don’t really have any suggestions man, sorry. We sort of march to the beat of our own drum around here.

  13. Post By Uncle Jesse

Would you keep Melvin Gordon for a second round? Don’t know the draft order yet.

    1. In most cases, yes. Hopefully, you’ll get an early pick so you can keep Melvin for a late 2.

Good day all! Just got the third pick in one of my bigger money ppr leagues! I prey Zeke falls to me as I don’t like the thought of firing the gun on DJ overall. Any chance you guys move Bell up a spot??? SOMEONE PLEASE…… Get this man a gun…. LOL

I actually truly like the back half of a 10 teamer better than the front! I am thinking of trading out if I can get someone to pay me enough.

  16. Post By Kwillee@hotmail.com

Was listening to the radio show in the early morning hours coming home from a poker game and heard a guy saying if he followed the sheet strictly with no bastardization he we getting overloaded with WR and very weak at RB. I cannot remember what hole he was mocking from but I can attest right now out of the 3 hole I am getting the same overweighting about 50 percent of the time!

    1. That seems impossible to me based on all the simulations we’ve run. If you can, please send the draft results to RosterWatch@gmail.com so I can see how this possibly occurred. Out of the three hole, it’s nearly impossible to end up with a WR overload, the idea is actually ridiculous, so I’d like to see exactly how these drafts played out and if there were opportunities to take RBs that you didn’t take advantage of.

Is there a way to use the cheat where it automatically checks off players as they have been drafted? I listened to the show and it seemed like you were able to easily check off who had been drafted in the mock draft. For some reason that is the part that I don’t like unless I’m missing something. It seemed as if you could know who was already drafted pretty quickly, but when I do it seems to take a long time to figure out who was already drafted.

    1. in the simulations, I have the sheet already input into the system, so it knows who all is gone. There is not a way to make it automatically check off players, sorry.

  18. What’s up RW Nation!
Keeper trade on the table. Burton $30 for Njoku $17.
TE get 2 ppr. 16 team league.

    1. Think I like the Njoku side better – that’s a hefty price for Burton.

  19. I’m probably missing it somewhere, but is there a Standard Cheat Sheet. I see earlier comments suggested it would be out last weekend? From the 26th: next few days. any day now, it will be up before Byron heads to DEN training camp. That is this weekend so it will be soon.

Just curious if it’s up and I just don’t see it.
    Thanks so much! Great site.

    1. *sigh* old man eyes, I found it. thanks!

      1. It just went up last night! ; )
