Scouting Notes:
LeQuint Allen is a lean upright rusher who gives off-peak Kenny McIntosh vibes from his time at Georgia, while McIntosh carried a touch more weight than Allen, he is also an inch taller, the BMI and running style are compatible. Allen has been prolific during his short 3-year career at Syracuse, with back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons with 119 receptions to boot.
Allen doesn’t carry any of the special traits you look for in a dynamic game-changing running back, however as a pass protector and pass catcher, there aren’t many as good as LeQuint – his sneakiest ability is deceptive lateral agility, his runs with higher surface area and tight hips, but shows the ability to his one cut and get up field. As a 5th-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Allen has the opportunity to break through not only in special teams, where he returned 5 kicks in 2023, but as a 3rd down and red zone specialist on offense.
