Highlight/Film

Scouting Notes:

Coming out of High School, Ollie Gordn was the 8th ranked running back in the 2022 recruiting class, while weighing just 205 lbs. Fast-forward 3 years, 30 lbs and over 3,500 yards from scrimmage and Gordon will be departing Stillwater having just turned 21-years old with a Doak Walker award in hand.

If you watched Gordon during the last two seasons, his size and running style might portray him as a back like Latavius Murray or Derrick Henry, while he has those downhill tackle breaking attributes, he is a considerably better pass catcher than those counterparts. Gordon finished Top 10 in Missed Tackles and Yards after Contact per Attempt in 2023. Two datapoints he statistically took steps back in for 2024. Gordon possesses each of the three top traits you look for, Elite Power, Good Wiggle and Adequate Play Speed, he is the definition of a Day 2 pick in the NFL Draft.
