Pros

– Ability to make the first defender miss, wins with Power and Wiggle

– Tied with Nick Singleton, Kaytron Allen, and J’Mari Taylor with (2) 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

– His short-area acceleration helps him attack openings in a hiccup

– One Career Fumble on 433 attempts

– 33 Rush Attempts of 10+ yards (Most in 2026 Draft Class)

– 56 Missed Tackles Forced in 2025 (Every 3.2 attempts)

Cons

– Injury History (MCL Strain in 2024, Bruised Ribs in 2025)

– Only four career games with 20+ touches (Always had a great complementary tandem back, but we’ve never seen him be a bell-cow, down in and down out)

– His Slender Lower body worries us for what could potentially lead to unavailability in the future.

Highlight/Film – (#4 for Notre Dame in Blue vs. USC)

Scouting Notes:

Jeremiyah Love finished his three-year career at Notre Dame as one of, if not the most prolific Running Back’s with fewer than 500 career touches that we’ve ever evaluated. In 2025, he amassed 1,652 total yards after a second consecutive season with more than 25 receptions. Finishing as a consensus All-American and Third in Heisman Voting behind Fernando Mendoza (QB) and Diego Pavia (QB).

After dealing with a potential season-ending knee injury against USC in 2024, Love gutted it out and carried the ball 11 times for 46 yards and a maniacal touchdown for the history books (see below tweet). In 2025, Love suffered Bruised Ribs in October and a Knee Injury scare in November of 2025 as well.

I’m not the evaluator that will come out and tell you that Love is better than Ashton Jeanty, Bijan Robinson, or Jahmyr Gibbs, but he is damn good. His Patience at the line of scrimmage, decisiveness, paired with short area acceleration, is some of the best in the sport, but not on par with that of the great Bijan Robinson. Think more Melvin Gordon or Rachaad White for that conversation. I don’t expect Love to run at the NFL Combine or his Pro Day in South Bend, but I’m not worried about what I project as a 4.55 forty-yard dash. It doesn’t matter. He led the sport in Explosive runs of 10+ yards (33).

He’s going to be the 1.01 in all Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Drafts in 2026, unless someone gets spicy in Superflex and decides to take Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback out of Indiana. Don’t think twice, click the button, and welcome a clear two-down pounder with pass-catching chops and 3-down upside to your Dynasty team.
