Fantasy Outlook: 

Brinson is a traits-based wide receiver prospect whose evaluation leans more on upside than sustained production. After beginning his career at Miami (his hometown as a Miami Northwestern High School graduate), he finished at SMU, where he was used primarily as a vertical and perimeter option.

The concerns remain largely unchanged. Brinson has never posted a true breakout season, and his production profile is modest for a draft-eligible receiver. While he shows the speed to threaten defenses vertically and the body control to finish downfield, he has yet to develop into a consistent route runner who can win across the full tree. As a result, his usage has often been situational rather than foundational.

From a fantasy perspective, Brinson projects as a developmental outside receiver whose value will be dictated by landing spot and coaching. He has the athletic traits to carve out a role as a situational deep threat, but his path to targets is narrow without further refinement. We’ve seen players of his ilk, like Nico Collins flourish in the NFL when given starter’s snaps, but we’ve seen even more fade into relative obscurity. In dynasty formats, he’s best viewed as a late-round rookie flier — a bet on physical upside rather than proven production, with a wide range of outcomes depending on opportunity.
