Fantasy Outlook on Stefon Diggs Moving Forward
When Vikings WR Stefon Diggs came back from injury against the Denver Broncos in Week 4, not many outside of RW Nation expected him to have the performance he had – and the continuity he had with Teddy Bridgewater. Despite the six-catch, 87-yard performance, the Minnesota Vikings’ Week 5 bye week kept some people from picking him up due to other needs stemming from bye-weeks and injuries.
In Week 6, Diggs went up against a putrid Kansas City Chiefs defense. In this game, Diggs established himself again with a seven-catch, 129-yard performance. Two consecutive games and two consecutive old performances. And then in Week 7, Diggs put in yet another great performance hauling in 108 yards on six catches and a touchdown. The rookie continues to impress and he continues to prove himself as the No. 1 receiver in that offense.
RosterWatch has always said that once given the opportunity, that Diggs would immediately establish himself as the true No. 1 WR in Minnesota and that’s exactly what he has done.
So with the impressive three-game streak Diggs has put on, the Maryland rookie has people thinking, just how good can he be for the rest of the season? Well, for starters, Diggs will get a chance to go after another vulnerable secondary in Week 8 when the Vikings go on the road to play the Chicago Bears. From there, Diggs will play a decent St. Louis Rams defense before playing the Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers.
Now 2-0 since their Week 5 bye, the Vikings seem to be hitting their stride. And with a favorable schedule coming up until in the next few weeks, it shouldn’t be a surprise if Diggs continues to perform. He’s a guy that should be played in all fantasy formats, especially in PPR leagues as he continues to bring in at least six catches for good yardage too. Until further notice, Diggs is a solid WR2/terrific flex.

Do I drop Joseph Randle for a DST rental this week? Could get MIN or ATL. Alternative would be to stick with DEN for my DST.
I picked up Diggs nearly a month ago, in all 3 of my dynasty leagues. Since then, I have gotten multiple offers for him. In a 12 team ppr league, I was offered Lativius Murray and a 2016 first rd pick for him. That pick is going to be anywhere from pick 6-12. My current wr’s are Agholor, DT, Smith Sr, Strong, Smelter, A. Rob and Crowder, my rbs are Lynch, Abdullah, Matt Jones, Hyde, Riddick and Turbin. Should I take this deal? I am currently sitting a 3-4 atop a weak division.
i’d probably pull the trigger.
