  1. Received a trade: my James Robinson for his David Johnson and Dallas Goedert. I’m tempted to take it. Any reason for me not to?

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

Yep- if Goedert is a starter for you- I would do it

    2. Just going to jump in for a second. I think it depends on who your TE is. I don’t like that you are trading away the best player in the trade. Robinson is a much more valuable asset than David Johnson.

      1. TEs are Jonnu Smith, Mike Gesicki, and I just picked up Dalton Shultz. I used to have solid TEs but they haven’t done well in the last 3 weeks.

    3. Hell no!

  2. Hello RosterWatch Nation.

    12 team .5ppr 5-3 record.

    2 RB, 2WR, 1 FLEX

Do we trust A Jones tonight if he is active for the game?

Other RB options- J Robinson, A Gibson, P Lindsey. (Chubb& Mostart IR)

WR- Evans, Hollywood Brown, Dionte Johnson. (Woods bye and Aiyuk on IR)

Currently leaning toward J Rob, Gibson, Evans, Brown and Johnson.

    What do you think?

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

I have no problem playing Jones if he’s active. If not I’d look at Robinson or Gibson

  3. Byron. Super excited for this weeks TradeCast. Thank you as usual.

Quick question. Would you trade my AJ Brown and James Robinson for Dalvin Cook? Would leave be with only DK Metcalf, Terry McLaurin, Brandon Aiyuk and CeeDee Lamb for WR’s. .5PPR. But my big 3 RB’s would be Cook, Miles Sanders and Chubb.

    Thank you!

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

For me this depends on your starting roster limits- are you currently able to start DK, TM, AJB + JR + MS + Chubb all together? If so, I’d probably stick with that. But, if you are having to bench one of those players every wk- then I would upgrade your starting lineup to Cook

      1. Thank you Byron this is a great answer and why RW is the best. I can start all of them together so I’ll stand pat. Thank you!

  4. Reposting on this since TNF is tonight & I have a question involving Hasty!

Start 2WR, 1 RB, 1 Flex in PPR:

    JuJu
    JCrowder
Godwin (iffy finger recovery/mouths to feed)
    Hasty,
    Gus,
    Breida,

I lean the first 4, but you pros tell me!

  5. Post By Byron Lambert

I would probably bench one of those WR for Gus Edwards if Ingram is out again- start the best 2/3 of those WR + Gus

  6. .5 ppr

Was offered Tannehill for Tee Higgins, my current QB is Tua and the waiver wire is razor thin.

My WRs— Tyreek, Michael Thomas , Golladay, Higgins, Hollywood

It’s a 2 WR league with a flex, so I think Higgins may not even play when my team is healthy and there are some decent WR options on the waiver wire to replace the depth

    1. that’s probably fine, I would like a throw-in but maybe Byron has other ideas.

  7. Post By rickymurawski@gmail.com

Should I trade Johnathan Taylot for Cooper Kupp? I have Kamara Josh Jacobs and Miles Sanders and just got my Lat Murray handcuff, My WR Corps are Ridley, Chark,Parker,Crowder and Tee Higgins.

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

Yes, probably so. The best option would be to take Taylor + one of your current WR and trade for a WR better than Kupp- but if you don’t have that option- this is probably a solid deal for you-

  8. I’m not sure what to do about Zeke.

Was offered Chubb and singletary for Zeke and chase Edmonds. Should I take this?

My other RBS are Gibson, Mixon, McKinnon and Akers

    1. Post By Byron Lambert

I would only trade for Chubb if you are in 1st or 2nd place. I’d probably just play Edmonds right now unless I got a deal that really made sense. Why not do Zeke + somebody else for Chubb only , if you are even in position to pursue Chubb.

I might trade Zeke and Edmonds for one really good player, or for two players you can use now if you need to win now— but for that to make sense you would probably have to need a WR. 2 for 2 RBs trades don’t make a ton of sense unless you are clearly upgrading your starting lineup. Or, you could try to trade Zeke alone for 1-2 decent players.

  9. What are some trade scenarios people are using to move Gurley? Really want to get rid of him this week. Have Dalvin/Mixon/Chubb/Gus/Gio, Davante/ARob/JBrown/Crowder, Graham/Goedert, Cam. 12 TM STD league

    12 team – 0.5PPR – 5-3

    QB: P. Mahomes
    RBs: A. Kamara, C. Edmonds
    WRs: D. Hopkins, T. Hill
    TE: D. Goedert (BYE)
    FLEX: J. Dobbins

    RBs: R. Jones, L. Fournette
WRs: M. Brown, B. Aiyuk (COVID)

Hey Byron! I’ve been offered Noah Fant for Fournette. I’m not sure if the deal’s worth it or if I should just ride the week without a TE (my opponent has Hasty so that’s a plus). Thanks!

  11. Thanks for the pod Byron! Great work as always!
    Choke artist here. 6-2 (x2)

Are we at the point of trading Zeke and Pollard for JT and Wilkins?

    Thanks again!

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Zeke is one of the most heavily traded players this week. The issue is that his value has never been lower. I think you are wise to identify Dobbins as a player to target. After week 9, its going to likely be impossible to get him.

      1. Thanks for the response! To clarify, the question was about trading Zeke for Johnathan Taylor.
Basically a Cowboys for Colts backfield swap. I could get Debo thrown into the deal for Mims as well.
I know his value is super low. Just want to ensure I get enough back.

  12. My current QBs are Matt Ryan and Teddy. RBs are CMC , JRob, Carson, 4nette
Wrs Diggs, DK, Godwin, crowder, claypool, lazard..
What type of package would you offer up for mahomes?? Guy who has him is 2-6. Im 7-1 but feel like Ryan will be my weakest link down the stretch. Thoughts??

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Some leagues frown upon top teams trading with teams that are out of it. But that still should not deter you from trying. Whatever gives the guy at 2-6 hope is the players you should trade. Try best not to compromise your core. I would suggest

      Matt Ryan
      Carson
      Godwin

Some combo of those players. It is going to be tough to get a deal done.

I was offered JuJu Smith-Schuster and Z. Moss for Chris Godwin in a PPR Dynasty League. Should i make that trade? Thanks

    1. Post By Alan Seslowsky

Check my reply in the other column I gave you a nice breakdown to consider.

      1. Post By nicholsm430@comcast.net

I checked both columns and do not see a reply!

        1. Post By nicholsm430@comcast.net

Never mind. I found it. Thank you!

  14. Post By Bech01a1@yahoo.com

Would you send Jonathan Taylor, Hunter Henry, and a late first for Kittle in a dynasty league? I’m not competitive at the time but have some decent young talent and I’d still have my own 1st which should be too 5.
