RosterWatch Week 5 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet and Podcast Now Available

Building a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver-claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

    I get Aaron Jones (keeper eligible) and Freiermuth for Mark Andrews (not keeper eligible)

    My rb currently look like Henry, Dobbins, Benjamin, davis price and r white. So not very deep

    Thoughts on moving Zeke for Olave? I want to try Zeke for Olave and Doubs but don’t know if he’ll bite. He is in RB trouble.

    Also, this may end up leaving me with too many players from same teams

      I think Carr is your weak link. I would try to move him and one of your Packers. Also you can probably drop ARob for one of these high priority waiver WRs. I don’t mind moving zeke but it seems like you’re just adding to your same team problem by adding Olave. Check out the tradecast this week for more trading tips.

    The guy who lost Javonte Williams offered to trade me Amon-Ra St. Brown for Curtis Samuel and Edwards-Helaire. I have decent depth so I’m very tempted. 12 team PPR here is my current roster: davante Adams, AJ Brown, Dalvin Cook, CEH, Samuel, Chris Olave, Ertz, David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert, Brandin Cooks, Antonio Gibson, Rhamondre Stevenson.

      You don’t need Wilson and Moore. I’d aim for one of the WRs. You’re pretty deep at RB. Pickens or Gallup. I don’t like to carry more than 1 QB, and Russ just went off. Prescott is the only one with his kind of upside, and he probably won’t be a priority for another couple of weeks.

    Curious about how the matchup tool gets constructed. I also use fantasypros (helps manage the team) and found that FP tells me Sutton has a great matchup v. IND yet in the RW tool its deep in the pink. thanks

      Very close, but you can’t bench Everett right now. If Keenan Allen plays then you can make that pivot. TE is a crapshoot as you know.

    WR’s are lamb,AJ Brown,Sutton,Godwin,dionte Johnson, and Bateman.

    Would you drop any of those players for Rashaad white, Kenneth Walker, Boone, or Algiere at RB or amari cooper at WR?? Knowing I have 2 IR spots filled with swift and Robinson currently and they will be coming back soon. Eventually I’m going to have to cut 2 players off my roster. Tried making trades with no success so far. Thanks

    Picked up Pickett last night as a hopeful long term solution at QB2 10 team superfex nonPPR. The bottom of my bench would be Doubs or Juju. With Waller on BYE I know I’ll have to dump someone soon, so I’m thinking of doing it this week for a better QB stream or to snag Gerald Everett (Shoot, is he competition for Waller ROS?) Who is the drop out of Pickett/Doubs/Juju.
