– Has improved vastly in contested catch situations; 64% win rate per PFF in 2023, big improvement from 2022 where he was notably bad in this area.

– Has the natural gifts and ball skills to make occasional acrobatic catches
– Weapon versus two-high looks with deep dig/dagger routes

Fantasy Outlook: Rosemy-Jacksaint came to Georgia with very high hopes but was somewhat a victim of circumstance as far as reaching his athletic ceiling. Not only did he have a season-ending ankle injury right out of the gate, and reportedly played through minor injuries as a sophomore. He also had to deal with extremely strong target competition through his whole time in Athens with players such as George Pickens, Adonai Mitchell, Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers all present on the roster through various portions. For dynasty rookie drafts, so much will be dependent on his Senior Bowl performance, physical testing and eventual draft slotting and team fit, but prior to knowledge of those variables, he’s a player where you’ll be betting on the come. He has some insane natural gifts as evidenced by highlight-reel grabs and big, sticky hands. He improved drastically from 2022 to 2023 in his contested-catch rate, and that will need to continue improving given his general style of play and how he’s likely to be envisioned within the scheme that he projects into with his eventual NFL team. He looks the part and could be that scheme-specific weapon at the next level for sure based on his proven ability to do damage on deeper dig and dagger routes underneath two-high shell looks in the mold of Dez Fitzpatrick while he was at Louisville. There are some question marks with his speed and acceleration, though, that will need to be answered during the process. We’re holding out hope that a change in scenery and a new beginning going to the NFL may just be what it takes to jump-start a player with MRJ’s talent profile in putting all of the pieces together.
