RosterWatch 2024 In-Season Content Schedule

Welcome back to another season; we know that you are all as excited as we are to have football back.

If you are new to RosterWatch, or just need a quick refresher/update about new things on tap, here is what you can expect from us this year as far as our weekly content schedule.

Please note that Week 1 is different than the other weeks, as we do not have data from the previous week’s games being pulled in to power many of the tools. If you have questions during the course of the week, feel free to ask in the comments section of any of the articles posted to the front page of the site. Members of our team monitor the comments sections as a way to help our PRO members with your tough decisions, or otherwise answer any questions you may have. There will also be additional content throughout most weeks on the RosterWatch YouTube page, so make sure you are subscribed there, as well. With all of this understood, here we go:

MONDAY

– Trashman’s “Fantasy Fallout” Column — w/ Trashman 

TUESDAY

– Weekly positional rankings will go up (rough first run – updated and tweaked through the week) — w/ Alex Dunlap, Cody Carpentier and Trashman
– Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet – Starting Week 2 (PRO) — w/ Trashman 
– Waiver Wire Podcast – Starting Week 2 — w/ rotating members of the RW staff 
– Snap Counts, Touches and Targets Database will update (around noon central) – Starting Week 2 (PRO)
– Touchdown Dependency Tool will update (around noon central) – Starting Week 2 (PRO)
– Single Game Odds and Matchup widgets for the coming week’s slate will be added with betting insights and % of money vs. % of public bets data, etc.(PREMIUM)

WEDNESDAY

– RosterWatch Matchup Tool (PRO)
– Fantasy Trading Advice and Insights (Premium trade advice/strategy content starting in Week 4 or 5) — w/ Byron Lambert (PRO)
– The Algo (Value Index Tool) will update — w/ Can’t Miss Mitch (PREMIUM)

THURSDAY

– Weekly Rankings will update (with staff consensus rankings built in)
– Trashman’s Flex Rankings (RB, WR, TE for cross-positional sit/start help) — w/ Trashman (PRO)
– The Circa Millions Cast (Sports Betting Debate Show) — w/ Can’t Miss Mitch, Alex Dunlap and Cody Carpentier
– Dynasty Rankings Updates (Dynasty Top 250 will be updated weekly through the season) — w/ Cody Carpentier and Trashman (PRO)

FRIDAY

– Vegas Tool will update (DFS flex values based on sportsbook player props) (PRO)
– Premium DFS Main-Slate Walk-Through Video, “The Blitz” — w/ Alex Dunlap, Derek Carty and Will Priester (PRO)

SATURDAY

– “RosterWatch” on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, 3-5pm Eastern — w/ rotating members of the RW staff 
– UnderDog Fantasy Pick’Em Show Presented by Underdog Fantasy (immediately following the Sirius XM Show weekly) — w/ rotating members of the RW staff
– Trashman’s Garbage Grab — w/ Trashman
– DFS Cheat Sheets (DraftKings and FanDuel Main Slate); updates through weekend (PRO)
– HyperDFS Lineup Generator (DraftKings and FanDuel Main Slate); updates through weekend (PRO)

SUNDAY

– Last-Minute Sunday Morning sit/start Live Stream for your fantasy questions — w/ Cody Carpentier
– Last-Minute Sunday Morning sit/start thread for your fantasy questions — w/ the RW staff (PRO)

    Trade question: 1QB PPR Dynasty, 25 man roster
    I was offered a 2025 2nd for Rico Dowdle. My other RB’s are McCaffrey, Walker, Pollard, Ford, Tracy (r), Vidal (r), Laube (r). I won the Championship last year. I’m leaning to take it, hoping my other RB stay mostly healthy and/or the rookies come on 2nd half of season. Thoughts?

      Take the deal, friend! Your RB room is strong and we love where Tracy/Videl/Laube sit in PPR leagues with the opportunity to grow – Dowdle will never get the “Zeke” load of yesteryear! This is how you build a juggernaut – congrats

    Just drafted in a 12 team standard league! Yahoo grade of D+, so I should be good! I went straight from Cheat sheet which left me in trouble at TE and flyers in last 2 rounds on D and kicker, any advice? Jalen Hurts, Bijan, Josh Jacobs, Olave, Pittman Jr, Musgrave, D Swift, Moody, Seattle. Bench Javonte Williams, X Worthy, K Allen, Blake Corum, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Lawrence.

    Any advice appreciated. Only notable I see on waivers are Ty Chandler, Mike Williams, Isaiah Likely and the Bears or Saints D.

    5 day old cheat sheets on the weekend before football starts? C’mon guys. I have 3 drafts today. What do i do with Ricky Pearsall?

      Trust me, we are testing and testing and testing. The ADPs have evened out and we’re not going to update just to update. The Pearsall deal is a good point though. Maybe we should talk about removing him just in case. In all of the drafts that people did this year, I would be surprised if one person got him.

    Draft results from last night below! Used the PPR cheatsheet – thoughts? AR actually fell and the sheet told me to pick him at 7.4! Not a fan of rostering two TE, especially when we only have 1 IR spot and it’s taken up by Brooks right now, but Hock was there at 12.9 while best available were Chandler, Wright, McLaughlin, and Mooney but then grabbed the best available WR at Shaheed … then my last two picks were Ertz and my defense.

    Hi Guys. I am in a keeper league and the 9 of the top 12 backs were kept. So, i did what i could. 12 team, non ppr, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, WR/RB/TE Flex, TE. Should i drop Bucky Irving for Justice Hill? The idea is it would provide me a handcuff and i feel like his stand alone usage may yield better results in the event i need an emergency flex. Or, am i totally off course? Any insight is appreciated. My roster is shown below.

      Well you’re risking Irving longterm, but White will probably hold onto that role for awhile. Hill, may provide more standalone value, but I think we’ve seen his ceiling at this point. Hill makes more sense short term, but chances are you’re not going to play either of these guys much at all this season

    2 guys not on the sheet I have questions about. Does Jauan Jennings have any value now that Pearsall got shot? Enough to draft in a best ball if you own Purdy? Als, Greg Dulcich didn’t make your sheet. What are your concerns about him?

      I could see taking either one of those guys, but they’d only be for best ball in the 18th or 20th round-type of player. Could be wrong, but not sure either will be factors in redraft.

    Had amazing draft with sheet but took a second TE in Ertz ( have kincaid) and wondered if I should drop ertz for Jordan Mason for lottery ticket or shore up my WR with Wicks, polk or mooney ( have olave/d smith/jamison williams, romeo d and josh palmer)? All but mason ahead of ertz on the sheet.

      The rankings are messed up right now but we’re working on getting them fixed. They’ll be updated through the week and will have much more of our consensus input into them on Thursday, so I’d check back then. Also make sure to see Trashman’s flex rankings.
