PRO Trashman’s Week 4 Flex Rankings

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions. Please refer to the Rankings tab for our staff positional rankings (these are updated throughout the day Thursday and through the weekend).

(Based on .5 PPR scoring).

  1. 10-team .5ppr.

    Send Judkins and Egbuka
    Get Bucky

RBs: Gibbs, Monty, Benson, Charbonnet, TreVeyon
WRs: London, JSN, Tetairoa, Golden, Godwin

    1. I think i would stand pat

      1. Standard skattebo or tre tucker (flex)

  2. In a PPR, who, if any of these, would you offer for Rashee: Judkins, Scattebo, Jeanty? For context we start 2 Flex. I also have CMC, Harvey and Woody.

    1. I would want to see the rest of your WRs — also are you 3-0? That’s the only way I’m trading for Rice right now.

  3. Got Jayden Daniel’s and Kyler Murray.

Do you think Daniel’s plays this week or should I ride with Kyler?

    1. Man that’s a you decision — we don’t have any more info on whether JD will go than you do. I thought he looked good in videos from practice today so I would personally hold out to play him but I’m more of a risk-taker. I don’t want to advise you to take risks that are unnecessary so I would not fault you for playing Kyler but I would hold out to play JD personally.

I have Kyler Murray and Brock Purdy. Start Murray to be safe, or take a gamble on starting Purdy? Geno Smith is the best FA QB available.

    1. I would roll with Kyler myself in your spot, best of luck.

  5. 12 team ppr 7 keeper keague. I’m in 3rd place. Should I trade Jacbns for Chase Brown and Ekebuka? Jacobs on bye next week and no replacement worthwhile.

    1. I don’t usually want to make a trade like that where I’m getting two for 1, but I’d have to imagine you will have great keeper value in Egbuka right? If your RBs can withstand losing Jacobs, I suppose I would be fine doing it, although you’ll probably be trading him away on the week he finally really goes off. He’s set up to shred this week.

  6. I am the commissioner. One guy wants to trade Malik Neighbors for Nick Chubb and Isaiah Pacheco. My inclination is to deny the trade.

    1. Do you feel like the players are colluding? If so, you should by all means deny the trade and let them know they will not be invited back to the league after this season. However, if they are entering into the agreement in good faith and of free will, then, the way I see it, you as commish don’t have the right to deny the trade because that would insinuate that you are the supreme arbiter of all knowledge about what the future holds. Now, if this is an experienced player trying to take advantage of an inexperienced player, then I could understand the commish stepping in to protect the inexperienced player from making a disastrous trade (which this would be – it truly is a terrible trade). In general, however, I will not play in leagues where the commish has veto power in situations where collusion and/or foul play is not in question, because who’s to say the commish knows any better than the two players engaging in a consensual act? In this case, there’s a 99% chance that you DO know better, but it’s about the precedent being set. It’s your league and you understand the dynamics best, so do what you will, but that is my two cents.

  7. Alex. Thank you. This is the second trade I’ve had to assess. The first one I allowed. This one is clearly lopsided. The one player is very experienced and the other player has no clue what he’s doing. There is no collusion it’s just one guy is taking advantage of the other.

    1. In that case, I think you probably have the right to step in if you think it is for the good of the league. It is beyond a terrible trade for sure. I just wanted to note that I’m of the opinion that trades should never be vetoed by commish just because he thinks they are lopsided. In instances of collusion, and to some degree, an inexperienced player being taken to the cleaners, I think that is a gray area where you can use your best discretion!

  8. Need to sit one:
    Kenneth Walker III
    D. Swift
    C. Hubbard

    PPR.

    1. As a consensus, we currently have those guys ranked Chuba, Walker, Swift

Our computer model has them ranked Chuba, Swift, Walker

Projections have them ranked Chuba, Swift, Walker

Cody and Trashman are high on KW3 this week (which has him ahead of Swift) whereas I am not, but I could be wrong. I’d personally lean with the model and the projections and go with Chuba and Swift, but our official rankings would say Chuba and KW3. It’s a tough choice. GL

      1. Thanks Alex. Always appreciated.

  9. Before the Thursday night game
Full PPR I need 2, now that Charbs is back. Tet, Pickens or Walker.
    Thanks RW

    1. In PPR, I’m going with the WRs.

HOWEVER Trashman has Walker ranked above both of them, so if you want to ride with Trashman, he’s not too far off from the projections and you would want to go Pickens and Walker. Our projections have the WRs slightly ahead (Walker 12.6, Tet 13.1, Pickens 14.2). It’s up to you. I would go with the WRs, but I’ve also learned that it can be bad to go against Trashman’s trashy process in these spots. Best of luck, just trying to give you the best info to make your best decision, I don’t have a truly strong take on this one. But officially, I go with the WRs and Trashman goes Walker Pickens.

      1. Thanks for the quick response Alex, I’m going with the WR’s.

        1. Half ppr. I’m 3-0.

Was offered ceedee and London for Taylor and Giddens.

My other RB’s are Henderson, QJ, Montgomery and Marks

Wrs – JJett, Olave, golden , Franklin

Is it worth pulling the trigger?

  10. Need two 0.5 PPR:
    Etienne / Hubbard / TreVeyon / Judkins

Is it crazy to roll with the rookies?!? Seems like it’s Tre Time

  11. superflex ppr league trade question. My league has just one flex spot but a qb can be used in it.

    qbs: jayden daniels/daniel jones/jaxson dart
    wrs: aj brown/tyreek hill/tet/godwin
    rbs: jt/achane/kamara/judkins/skatebo

He wants to trade me justin jefferson and zach charbonett for jayden daniels and cam skatebo. Do you like this for my current roster?

current qbs on waivers are wentz stroud tua rodgers jj mccarthy

  12. Jameson and Coke 2-1 10 team 0.5ppr

Already started Benson and JSN, need 1 RB, WR and 2 Flex.

    Jeanty, Judkins, Monty
    GWilson, Malik, Pearsall, JaMo

Leaning Jeanty, Malik, GWilson and Pearsall if he’s good, but my brain is having a problem benching Monty and Judkins despite matchups/usage.

    Thanks in advance

  13. Post By DeadlyBarrister

RBs c brown, t Henderson, corum etienne, pollard
WRs ayomanor egubka kupp godwin (ir)
