Week 3 Garbage Grab
Week 3 Garbage Grab
Dorian “The Trashman” Colbert, RosterWatch.com
Andy Dalton QB Bengals: Yeah I know, I almost spit up my drink too, but Dalton threw for 332 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions last week against Denver. WR A.J. Green isn’t skipping a beat in transition to the NFL either, so the connection between these two should only get stronger over time.
Jesse Holley WR Cowboys: He’s come a long way from reality tv star. Somebody has to catch balls for the Cowboys, and it might as well be the guy with the game winning catch last week. Let’s hope he can keep up the good work. If Dez is out, pencil Holley in.
Preston Parker WR Buccaneers: Strictly a fill in for an injured Sammie Stroughter, Parker is turning into quite the target hound out of the slot, with six catches for just shy of 100 yards last week. Neither Mike Williams or Arrelius Benn is getting separation right now, so he may continue to be useful for the near future.
Marcel Reece RB Raiders: Every time I blink this guy does something else to grab my attention. If he can do it on a semi-regular basis, Reece turns into a guy you can start in your flex on the right week, like this one. The Jets should keep much of the Raiders’ offense in check, so look for Big Baby Huey to get creative with his favorite x-back.
Jeff King TE Cardinals: King has had a touchdown in every game this season. Sure there have only been two of them, but this means Kolb is actively looking for this guy in the end zone. If you’re a Hernandez owner, think about starting King while he heals up.
Evan Moore TE Browns: My main reason for including Moore this week is because the Browns are playing Miami, and they give up more points to tight ends than any other team. Compound that with the fact that he’s one of Colt McCoy’s favorite targets, and you have every reason to plug him in this week.
Bernard Scott RB Bengals: Ok, this is more in preparation for the following three weeks, but Scott will be the starting running back while Cedric Benson serves his suspension. Make sure he’s on your roster if he’s still available.
