Ahmad Bradshaw May Have Gotten on Track to Play Sunday vs. Packers

Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw returned to the practice field Friday for the first time since the aggravation of his chronically-jacked foot via stress fracture.
While he was limited in practice early in the week, he was adamant in telling the media he would be ready to go in a game the Giants (and their floundering run-game) desperately need him for on Sunday vs. undefeated Green Bay. He indicated that he did not need to practice to be able to go at game-time. HC Tom Coughlin was not so encouraging on Thursday, though; saying Bradshaw would have to log some practice time before being cleared.
In a bit of a surprise to folks close to the situation, Bradshaw indeed returned to practice Friday and looks positive to make his return this week. He practiced with the first team and HC Tom Coughlin said he “looked good” but would need to test it pre-game. (Basically Coach-Speak for “I think he’s good.”)
“I’m happy to be out there, man,” Bradshaw said Friday after the portion of practice open to media “I felt great. I plan on doing whatever I have been doing, like the last weeks I did play. Hopefully, I can handle everything.”
Seems like he will be a go barring setback in pre-game warmups. And it couldn’t come at a better time for the Giants.
