All Signs Point To Doug Martin Losing Carries in 2014 Bucs Offense

Running back committees are becoming the rage of the NFL despite how they may en-rage fantasy owners.
Doug Martin, a player who entered the 2013 season as one of the few remaining “workhorse” backs in the league, is looking more and more like just another committee casualty.
#Bucs offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford says he believes in alternating running backs, which will mean less workload for Doug Martin.

Now that Rick Stroud has reported it, people will freak out, but RosterWatch listeners have known for months that Martin has been being supremely over-drafted in 2014 redrafts leagues where his current ADP is RB8.
“Backup” runners Mike James and Bobby Rainey were both excellent in 2013 while filling in for an injured Martin, and in 2014, with a new regime coming to town, so has the olympic speed of change-of-pace weapon Jeff Demps and a Matt Forte-like skill set in rookie Charles Sims.
