I looked in to see who currently has the NFL Belt. What is the NFL Belt? That’s simple.

When the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl I, they started the belt. The next team they lost to in the ’67 season took the belt from them, and the next team that team lost to took it, and so on. The belt was not lost during ties, and if the team failed to make the playoffs but won their last few games since getting the belt, they keep the belt going in to next year.
