PRO Byron Lambert’s Week 5 Trade Report

Streamline your trade efforts each week by reading this report!

First, determine if you have marketable assets to engage the market with this week. If the answer is no, maybe you can save your energy for next week. Then, using this report, identify ripe player targets that are plausibly available in your league (and if you have interest in them).

Next, analyze who the owners are you’d be dealing with. In your longtime home leagues you’ll quickly recognize the player targets rostered by chicken little owners that have been impossible to trade with over the years. Take those guys off your board.

Conversely, if you spot player targets on a roster of a fantasy manager who has had a high propensity for wheeling and dealing over the years- bump those dudes up on your trade list (there may be trade neutral owners in your league that are also worth proposing offers to).

Finally, the third filter- the GOAT move in the consolidation trade market the next several weeks- target losing owners with 0-4 and 1-3 records. Pepper them with legitimate offers that fulfill their needs- in exchange for their desirable players. #ConsolidationNation

Teams with losing records- persist and fight on. Identify whether any of your top-shelf players exist on the sell side of this report, and whether liquidating that player for a couple of solid buy low targets (w/ good upcoming schedules) can help you field a better starting lineup now in order to get of the schneide start racking up precious wins.

I prefer to use hiatus @FrankGrimes so we can build anticipation for the epic return someday

  2. Full PPR currently 2-2

It’s a gamble but don’t hate it if you are looking ahead –

  3. I did go for wicks over Addison thinking that with Kupp and Aj Brown on the shelf, wicks would be better in short run till the studs are back. I would like to add Addison as he is still available- not sure who I would drop – choices – Shaheed, worthy, Jamison Williams, Chubb, or backup Qb Goff (starting Daniels ) thanks for advice.

I’d recommend dropping back up QB if you are determined to make the move

      1. Probably won’t since Goff will get gobbled up fast if I drop him. What about Shaheed if Adam’s goes to NO?

  4. Put another way would you rather have Addison or Shaheed ?

    1. Goff is not going to get gobbled up and if he does, you can just pick up another guy off the wire when you need a backup QB.
