Expectations are Low for Ravens LB, Sergio Kindle

Another reminder of just how dangerous the common residential stairway can be. Highly touted Texas LB, Sergio Kindle was a 2nd round pick in 2010. The Ravens drafted him to infuse their defense with youth, athleticism, and pass rush ability.
Unfortunately, the narcoleptic Kindle, suffered a mysterious and untimely fall down two flights of stairs in an Austin, TX home just days before the start of his rookie training camp. He fractured his skull and has barely sniffed the field since then.
Kindle has a ton of talent and it will be interesting to see if he can begin contributing in 2012. His physical injuries have healed but you wonder if his psyche has. The sentiment coming out of Baltimore is that the nature of his injuries and the accident itself will continue to inhibit Kindle’s progress and limit his ability to contribute much in 2012. It sounds like the Raven’s expectations are at a minimum.
